Shoot Penix was everything to Washington and he’s from Florida— so these Washington guys saying “they own the south” still needed the bring the south up to Seattle to get the NC.

Yep. Every SEC team you mentioned was responsible for giving their respective Big Ten opponent their worst defensive performance and in Missouri's case responsible for Ohio State's worst offensive performance.
