I figured Tennessee was going to hire Mark Ingram (coincidentally also shares a name with a NFL player) the AD at UAB. Ingram played for Tennessee and helped revive the UAB football program from the self inflicted death penalty to playing in the conference championship game every year since. Also was there while the program raised over $40M for athletic facility upgrades and construction of a new stadium. He would have also been a good choice as a former walk on Tennessee player.
He also hired Andy Kennedy as their basketball coach.

I am flabbergasted. VOLS actually made a very good hire instead of bringing in Dave Hart’s cronie Jon Gilbert like expected

I completely expected Jon Gilbert to be hired and to have some BS press conference about he was the best and first choice. He's terrible just like Hart.

Not so much as a flight tracker and names withdrawn before and just after news of the hire leaked. One shot hit. That ‘woman chancellor’ the UGA troll said was such a turrible problem for us (the worstest of our problems per him) flipped the script on the entire AD situation instantly.
