Dammit. I was too lazy to google before I posted it. Oh well. I’ll take my lumps. Lol

Why bang it out in the tough SEC when he could go to an ACC school and have a way better chance of making the playoff?

Imagine getting hired at Pedo St and then their fans revolting at you.

That's the problem with firing your head coach mid-season. Any coach that you'd actually want is busy right now unless you're aiming at a re-tread like Gruden.
Their agents aren’t though. Most contracts probably have something that says they can’t shop around while you’re still employed. Think Pertrino and Tuberville 2002.

I could have Sexton blow up Jessica Alba's phone on my behalf
That’s not how Sexton works.
Sexton would leak to his paid media shills that Jessica Alba was blowing up his phone asking about you. In effect manufacturing interest from her contemporaries such as Halle Berry, J Lo, Shakira, etc…

Penn State isn't hiring Mullen. He would damn sure coach at Arkansas or Kentucky over UNLV.
The whole point is Dan didn't want to spent a lot of time recruiting and for sure that Arkansas and Kentucky would not be his next job back to a the next level. PSU is perfect. He is a Pennsylvania native.

Dan Mullen to kentucky

Were Stoops to leave yeah I imagine he'd be on the list and there are far worse options out there.

No clue why this board is so negative on Mullen. All the guy has ever done is win everywhere he’s been. Had it rolling at UF and got completely blindsided by covid and it derailed him. I miss him being at State every single fall. Greatest thing to ever happen to us.
I would take him back right this minute.
