Just looking at both Huckleberry's on my teams sidelines would aggravate me to no end.

Especially buck-toof

Don't even try today, MM. (lolz).

They're one of the top jobs in the country. Just ask engie (who has yet to respond to my most recent blasting of his stereotypical spin BS).

Palmiero center is your indoor practice facility. DynastyDog said yall had every facilities advantage and it wasn't even debatable.

He's full of shite

Oh ok. Yeah...we have the nicer football stadium and will have the nicer baseball stadium. Your basketball stadium will be nicer whenever that gets built.

He might not necessarily be wrong about how he said no coach would every be hired away for money. State probably could match anyone if they really wanted to.

The thing he left out of his argument was that he never said no coach would ever be hired away for prestige. He knows that could happen. He just used the money thing to sound cool, but it was just another cloak argument that didn't matter for the point at hand.

Our football stadium might be nicer when it gets upgraded or it might not. We will see when they announce some concrete plans.

It will be bigger for sure.

Assuming it looks like the plans I saw before (maybe they have changed?) ours will be nicer. It seems like you guys kind of botched that. Maybe it was a fundraising issue.

Hopefully we will be able to deliver on the baseball stadium.

Most likely true. I would prefer ours if we ever actually mirror the south endzone. We have a much larger lower bowl than yall, and I'd rather sit anywhere in a lower bowl than in an upper deck.

Maybe you will, but it won't be for the pricetag yall announced. Not even close.

Naa, my biggest issue was him saying State was one of the top jobs in the country. I forget his exact language and I don't care enough to look it up.

Dan Mullen or Hugh Freeze

Bait hook...

(Question not for State or Ole Miss fans) They are both pretty good coaches but I was just wondering who fans of other SEC schools thought was the better coach?

Cast...

quote:

Ok you can think that & that's ok but it doesn't mean it's true. Mullen is just focused on A & M right now & that's the best way to be...

quote:

I really hate people are looking down on Mullen for taking up for Dillon. That's y'all's decision to think that & that's fine & all but I can guarantee you Mullen is not like some crooked coach. He took up for Dillon because Dillon went to him & told him it was not intentional & Mullen believes Dill...

quote:

Why do you think that Ole Miss is such a "better Job" than State? I don't see that being true except for Oxford being a neater town than Starkville. We actually have better stuff than them even though they are known for being all rich. Our stadium is a lot better than theirs since we expanded it...

Mullen really never even uses the indoor faculty anyway.

I don't really keep up with baseball stadium costs, but I am guessing you are right.

I think the big problem with your football expansion was that the initial rendering was so much better than what you ended up getting.

Holy frick you are an obsessed little bitch.

Yeah I said it -- and I'm not wasting any time arguing with you. You are an unworthy adversary just like your boy AC -- taking the same, tired, predictable Ole Miss approach that comes up every single time State has success. It's been going on for 15 years and you haven't been right yet. Get over it -- it's not happening.

Yeah -- because that's not what I actually said nor what I meant. It's what you took from it and twisted up into your own little agenda to "lolz engie is wrong!!1!1" instead of just taking an obvious implied meaning and moving on like everyone else.

"Prestige" is a two-edged sword. Mullen knows that full-well from being at UF. You think he's leaving Starkville for identical money to go somewhere where he has no leniency or patience to build it "his way"? Right when it's finally truly getting built "his way" in Starkville?

Just a shitload of Ole Miss wishful thinking. Nothing more or less. This record was already broken in 98 -- yet your fanbase keeps right on spinning it.

I don't care if he leaves or not. I promise you. I'm just saying if we wanted to go to a prestigious program money wouldn't matter anyway. I don't know what is in Mullen's mind, and I don't care.

Again, here comes section II of the engie method, a section I have deemed "the angry little man." It's a variation of the straw man fallacy except for engie fills it with a little vitriol, because he really hates being wrong and having his precious e-cred destroyed; i.e., he claims victory over my advances (his unreasonable admission that Mississippi State is one of the top jobs in the country) by conveniently changing my advance to another argument (the "Ole Miss approach, which he left unexplained).

When he realizes he has been proven wrong, not when it is obvious to third parties that he is incorrect, he huffs and puffs, resorts to petty insults, and proclaims his logical and intellectual superiority.

I'd seriously like to see this sparkling logic one day, engie.

What's with this talk of your facilities being hands down better?

You think the Palmiero center is better than our IPF? That's a pretty big piece of the facilities argument.

I forgot y'all built a new one recently. That's my bad.

The Palmiero Center isn't a bad facility. It is actually pretty nice for what it is used for. The reason people dick on it is because of the wood on the walls. That is there because the baseball team uses the PC as well. You can't have baseball's hitting tin.

If I had to choose one, I would choose Freeze. He would fit best at Alabama. He can recruit and has proven he can beat rivals and ranked teams. I'm not sure he could take the pressure of the Alabama job though.
