Dan Mullen leads the SEC....

When the NFL season kicks off, Dan Mullen will have two starting QB's that he recruited and coached; Alex Smith & Dak Prescott. I looked at the other 30 starting QB's and there are 5 other teams with SEC ties but NONE of these five have any ties to the current SEC head coaches. That's hard to believe but when you think about it, where should a 5 star QB go. Certainly not Bama or LSU where 5 stars go to die or A&M where they have more 5 stars leaving than staying and getting Oklahoma's sloppy seconds. You would think Auburn would have a clue but their answer to Cam, Jeremy Johnson, didn't quite make the hiesman balloting. Bert and his boy's are trying but Hog's just know how to run. Now Mr.Freeze has shown alot of promise in developing Kelly but let's see how 2016 turns out.
Dak's letting everyone know that Mullen's offense is almost identical to the NFL's and that is why it looks so easy to him. With this type publicity on America's Team, look for State to become "Quarterback U"

I like Dan Mullin as a coach. Dak was one of the best. But it isn't a system that can sustain itself.
Mississippi State has 1 conference championship in its history. This will remain the same for a long time.

Probably ought to pump the breaks on that one. Hopefully, he enjoys great success but doing well in several exhibition games is a poor comparison to actual, regular season games.

I think Mullen is a good coach......I just hate the way he talks.

Jeff Tedford put a lot of QBs in the NFL too

No wonder Mississippi women like Louisiana men. Their men get excited and blow their load to fast.

Bert puts players in the NFL too but doesn't do much with them while they are here.

So Mississippi schools are where starting NFL QBs go to not win college championships?
Jordan Jefferson has more SEC titles than Eli and Dak combined
Les has had 3 QBs get NFL starts, and Bama's last 3 QBs have NC rings. Pump the breaks

Or did Tebow prove its the exact opposite?
Dak is a good player but so far he's proven that with the best OL in the league and no one game planning for you you can get an NFL start if the star QB goes down.
I'm actually rooting for him, but not your post

Aside from the other 21 positions on the field. I'd rather have an average QB and win championships than some lame QBU designation.

The only people who learn anything from NFL preseason games are NFL coaches and players. More specifically, the players and coaches participanting in that specific preseason game.
Cam Newton looked awful in his first three preseason games, but dropped over 400 yards on the Cardinals in his first regular season NFL game. He went on to break Payton Mannings rookie passing record and followed that by breaking Mannings 2nd year passing record.
The point is, using your logic, judging soley on preseason games, Cam should suck, not be the NFL MVP and voted the best player in the league by the NFL players.
Dak is a high school QB compared to Newton and he will bust hard in the regular season.
