I want so badly to be proud of LSU for gutting it out shorthanded, but the trash just won't STFU, so here we are.
It's like when we tried to congratulate LSU on getting a great HC in Kelly, only to be pre-emptively shite on by the trash.

This. 99% of Ags would rather we have played but don't see it as some major stain on our honor that we didn't. In some ways it shows we have finally gotten to the point where we don't care about bowls like this anymore which is good and bad in its own way.
Mainly though the rambling on by LSU fans as if getting their shite pushed in by a bad K State team is the epitome of heroism and the players deserve medals for bravery is a bit much. In the end both of our teams had a bunch of players quit and your Admin decided to play and ours didn't. Probably the fact LSU didn't play in a bowl last year factored as much as anything, who knows. It sure as hell wasn't some pride and honor thing, this is big business.
The relevance of either decision is nothing in the big picture other than the greater symptom of how the CFB postseason is very broken. If your team isn't in the Playoff now the choice is to see a skeleton crew team play in a game no one cares about or just not play at all. That sucks for everyone.
Still you guys showed up, congrats. I'd still rather have watched A&M play than not. It's 8 months until the next game and I'll take any game I can watch.

It's amazing to me that 4 or 5 "A&M" posters acting like arrogant shits on here have been able to whip this entire board into a rage-filled, foaming-at-the-mouth, anti-Aggie frenzy for the better part of a month now, and still going.
It's made the board damn near unreadable in all aspects, but shoot, it might be the most effective all-time troll job in the history of tRant, and nothing notable even happened besides A&M signing a good class, and LSU squeaking out a win in Orgeron's last game, neither of which is terribly surprising or unexpected.
