It is true. It's misleading as a negative because of your instate rivals but it is true.

They are road games. Hence why the term "true" road games is now used to describe road games played at the opposing teams home stadium.

This is sad and pathetic. I'm assuming you would consider a bowl game in Orlando as a road game too.

A neutral site game is a type of road game. The term "Road" and "Away" simply means that the team has to travel from their home field to another location.

So is not considering a trip to Miami or Tallahassee which are farther from Gainesville than several "true" SEC out of State road games.

Georgia also has an instate rival but they’ve played 9 true road non-con games outside the state in that span and have 7 more scheduled over the next 10 years

Playing Utah and FSU kind of feels like overkill to me. Don't see many other teams doing it.

Just throw Miami or UCF in every 5 years or so and that's fine.

Why does Fla need to leave the state tell me that.

This has more to do with the fact that Georgia's OOC rival is one of the 3 worst P5 programs rather than a program that has won a NC in the past 10 years

Tech’s had a rough go of it these last few years but since we are talking about the span from the early 90’s to now, they aren’t even a top 15 worst P5 program.

Since 91, they’ve made 21/31 bowl games, including 18 straight from 1997-2014.

Kansas made 7 in that span. Duke has made 8. Illinois made 10.

So yeah, not even close to a bottom 3 P5 program.

To hell with semantics

Florida hasn’t played out of state in another team’s home stadium since 1991. Pathetic.

So do you consider the WLOCP a road game?

I hate UF like everyone else does, but I agree.

How many times have the other SEC bigger teams played out of state?
