Sorry I keep calling State fans wrong. But the funny part is you keep coming around doing just what you try to accuse me of.

If you read the cartoon, wouldn't you think the opposite is true?

No you have to come on here and call people out on the internet to feel smart. You fit the mold. I just like discussing sports. If I disagree with someone I say it and why with facts if I have them. If I think it's bs I say it. I don't run around correcting people's spelling and trying to call them out on having correct people because I don't like their opinion. Which is obviously by how you have to do that to an ole miss fan and not your State fans. This is a sports message board I come here to talk and debate sports if you don't like it dispute what I say, don't reply or just don't read it.

The cartoon is a way of discussing or debating as you put it. You and the others are engaged in an endless argument that can never, ever be resolved because of different eras, different teams (supporting casts) and different competition. So the cartoon illustrates that you are accusing someone of being wrong on the internet just like they are accusing you of being wrong. It's endless and a stupid argument and one that I used a graphic to express my side of the debate. OK?

So you don't think people should compare and debate teams and players if they are what past 10 years apart because they are in a different ear? Yeah I'm not expecting a State fan to just stop and say I'm right Eli is the best. But I debate and discuss sports because I enjoy it not winning. Isn't that what almost all sports talks and debates are. Hell even if they played at the same time as you said they would have different supporting cast so it would never be clear so what just don't debate it ever?

Three days worth of discussing is pretty ridiculous - even for tRant.

Statement from spd says he was picked up at 1230 am and given a breathalyzer at 115. It was "insufficient" and then they tried again a good bit later and that one "wasn't sufficient" either.

So...no one else is going to comment on the fact that spd waited 45 minutes to give him a breathalyzer and then another 30 for the second one?

And neither of which happen to work.

He was stopped at 12:30
First breathalyzer at 1:15- "invalid sample"
2nd breathalyzer at 1:45- "insufficient sample"

I've never heard of police giving someone 45 minutes before a breatholizer. Also never heard of "invalid or insufficient sample"

That's sounds like bullshite.

Are you suggesting some shenanigans? If they were going to pull some shenanigans, wouldn't they have just allowed him to call someone and not arrest him? In an article in the C-L this morning, it made it sound that the bad BAC test would not stand in the way of pressing on.

Have you ever heard of someone being given a breathalyzer a full 45 minutes after the stop?

I was given mine within 5 minutes(don't worry...I was well lower than the limit)

And the only thing that an "insufficient sample" on a breathalyzer could means is that he couldn't blow hard enough(insert egg bowl joke). Are you telling me that an elite athlete doesn't have the lung capacity to blow enough into a breathalyzer?

A friend of mine's daughter was stopped immediately after leaving a club and they made her blow. She failed. Apparently, they have to wait a certain amount of time after your last drink to get a valid reading. Her case was dismissed. I have never had to experience it so I don't know what's normal. I do know if you are snockered, 30 minutes aint going to save you.

Never heard of that....not saying that isn't true..just haven't heard of it.

I do know that it takes about an hour for an average person's body to work off the negative effects from one drink.

OPD didn't even give Speaks the chance to put his car in gear. They got him as soon as he started his car.

Get you one of those portable analyzers off of the internet and drink one beer and immediately blow. You will be over .08. Repeat after 15 minutes and check the difference. It takes time for your actual blood alcohol level and that of your breath to stabilize. You are using the breath alcohol level to quantify the level in your blood. Doesn't happen immediately.

What does that have to do with the time between his last drink and blowing?

I guess no more than your anecdote about your friends daughter. Was just making a comment.
