This will cost him a lot of money in draft status. Bad timing.

Wish he had asked somebody to drive him home or give him a ride.

Dak had a terrible OL his last year when he really threw the ball well. Unlike Ole Miss who bought protection Mullen did a poor job getting linemen in and I can see he realizes that now. Any good defense could get in our backfield and that was no big secret. Rip on Dak all you want but the guy can play and had no running game to help him. Therefore he was an elite QB whether you like it or not.

So are you expecting a big drop off with him gone? Your line might be a little bit better but not an extrem improvement and you have two redshirt sophomores with less then 20 pass attempts. They may be talanted but if he was that elite there will be a big drop.

No denying that at all. But I do think Fitzgerald is going to surprise. Go back to Utah or Florida and Msu, Mullen coaches up QB's and Fitz is very very gifted as is Staley. But it's true, a new QB is not going to produce as well in his first year.

Yeah I'm not expecting either to fall on their face I just some State fans might miss how big Daks experience and game knowledge made a difference. Having Ross as the leader of the O will be a big help to who ever gets the job though. They will just have to find a running game and got give them more time when they drop back.

I think the OL will be better but then, now a new QB. If the running game isn't there which is hard to believe when you consider all the years having a running game which disappeared last year, if no running game this year it's going to be a very long season.

The #1 pick arguement is so stupid. We are talking about them as college players not their pro potential

And this is a bullshite argument as well. Name a single player since 1950 that dreamed about playing college football more than the NFL.

but even to entertain your bullshite argument.... Feel free to list all of the national awards that dak was given...maxwell, Davey o'brian, etc.

No need to argue with these guys, they outright bought some of their best players. Everyone knows it.

Oh and.. Dak > Eli in college.

So why could Dak never beat a team good enough to finish the season with 9 wins? Was it that the team around him was so bad his elite talant couldn't left them above any of those teams? Aren't there 6 State players projected in the draft? Not really a lack of talant.

I know, right. Especially since Eli is a good pro qb.

I'm guessing OL because Dak had 2 All SEC WR this year and good running games in the past.

I guess winning the maxwell award, Johnny Unitas award and finishing 3rd in the heisman pale in comparison to dak's college accomplishments. My bad
