No plate discipline. All about launch angle and home runs. Probably gonna average 10 strikeouts a game and 10 or 11 LOB’s a game.
This is said this time every year. That’s a good omen.

I agree but what have you seen the last 2-3 games that makes you think otherwise?

Nothing will change until DVH calls it quits
If it's a repeat of 2016, then I'm a firm believer 2027 might be it for him.

There is a precedent for teams, winning national championships and not hitting. The last was probably UCLA a while back. I think they had something like a 230 team batting average. Pitching and defense can win a lot of games.

We're losing 4-0 to Army in the 4th... yikes.
Army 9-5 winners - PM didn't learn his lesson with the 'dodger' style uniform which has a losing record - he broke out the camo caps today against Army - all of the ignores the fact that the talent wearing both is nowhere near Gamecock baseball level - and the coaching clearly below it -
Paul won't surpass his 6 win SEC season from last year - this current version might get 4 - how bad is Missouri?

We beat the shite out of the baseball last year and the ultimate downfall, defense.

A that team led the nation in defense. Imploding at the wrong time gave a game away

Our home opener last season vs awful Wazzu we won 3-2 in 10 innings.

Just in time for Vitello to take over after getting canned by the giants. I see the vision.

I like Paul M more than most lsu fans. But the dude had nothing left in the tank at end of his tenure. Not sure why tanner made that hire.

Dave said the other day that he was in no hurry to retire and said his wife doesn’t want him to. He’s going to be around for a long time unless his health fails or the wheels fall off of the program.
You might as well shop for another team and coach to hate.

Elander made a couple of rookie mistakes this game as well. Also, Vols pitching only gave up 4 hits……but hit 6 batters. It was a bizarre game. GG to Kent St for fighting hard all night.

Tanner really pulled the Mainieri out of the retirement home and thought it would be a homerun hire
