It is true that Arkansas is 4-2 against us since 2000. It's also true you bitched out of the 2009 home and home after the absolute mauling you took in Austin.

Being 4-2 and also ducking an obvious loss isn't exactly what I would call "owning" but if it makes you feel good about your doomed program, I understand.

Are you talking about the same Arkansas coach that beat Texas during his first year on the job?

By the way, where can I pick up some burnt orange diapers?

Texas beats No. 3 on the road and Arkansas is 3 pages deep on a thread about their greatest team in the past decade beating a 5-7 Texas team in a game that was over 2 years ago

Being a razorback must be sad

Arkansas is one of those teams that I forget exists. Usually because ESPN shows scores for Top 25 unless you specifically select a conference.

So much chest puffing (pun intended) about the past for a team that had to go to 3 OT with the Kansas Jayhawks 9 months ago.

And y’all are beating your chest about beating a 5-7 Arkansas team in 2008.

I guess this was finally the return game and it’s odd how the script flipped.

Piggies are weird, they love to bring up the all-time results against A&M but only stick to the 2000s against Texas for some reason.

Lol nobody's doing that. Texas won 12 games that year, and Arkansas was maybe the 9th or 10th most important one. It was for certain the 12th hardest of the 12

How so? The script in 2008 was that Texas was a top 5 team and Arkansas was unranked and struggling. Seems like the exact same script in 2023

Maryland, K-State, BYU, Baylor, TCU, Iowa St. and others have a lot to brag about against Texas too.

The program has been mediocre for a lot of this century outside of the VY/McCoy years so welcome to the party.

But I’ll give credit to Arkansas for the 1981 Fayettenam massacre. It’s up there with Montana to Clark as far as worst sports memories.

The cry from Vol football since 98'

I still say in a few years (after SEC adjusts to Utx) we should let UT and Utx go head to head for "Life Champions" battle going forward.

Say what you will about Hogs being in the SEC but when Utx joins I feel we will appreciate in full effect the value of our Hog brothers and sisters.

You must not be very old to see the SWC - boots on the ground - if you can not understand this dynamic. Spend a lifetime in the all TX conference as the only non TX school and it makes you pretty froggy for a fight to this day.

Good or bad seasons count on the Hogs to annoy Utx for as long as they are in the SEC.

Growing up in my house, the Texas - Arkansas game was #2 behind Texas - OU but not by much.

Definitely looking forward to resuming the war with the piglets.

Glad you're finally able to admit the real reason you're coming to the SEC is because you're running away from Kansas
One of us beat Kansas by 41 on the road last year. The other one needed 3 OTs to beat Kansas on a neutral field. I’ll let you figure out which was Texas and which was Arkansas

First Alabama last week and now Kansas is there any team arkansas would shamelessly dickride in order to stand up to the big meanie longhorns?

ETA: oooooooof. Looks like the piggie fans didn’t appreciate the facts and truths. Sorry hogs
