I think we will be pretty good this year, but nothing scary at all. The SEC will be brutal as usual.

I was a little surprised at Liam's struggles on opening day. Seemed to really be having some mechanical issues with his delivery on a lot of pitches. Certainly fixable, but they need him to be the tone setter on Friday nights.

Yeah I think his stuff is good, but he better get it under control. Saturday starter is nails and new Sunday guy looked pretty good, so we shall see.

Pre conference is hopium time. Last year OU was 15-1 before SEC play. We went 14-16 in SEC but did make playoffs. Our road SEC schedule is even more brutal this year. The OOC games help to get you in since conf is so tough. Winning some SOS games OOC are a big boost.
I’m encouraged so far but its a long tough season.

This OU team is light years better with this pitching . I am hesitant to say that but if they can pitch like they have been . We will be in every game . Offensively we are a much better power hitting team. Not as powerful as our softball team but getting their . .

Our pitching was great last year OOC too. I do think its better but its still too early. If Cam keeps control once we get into tough SEC play then that would be huge. Our bats are better this year. I’m encouraged but still hesitant.

Texas is up 7-0 in the bottom of the third. Could be winning by much more, left the bases loaded twice already. Volantis is looking like Volantis. Serious ace material there.
