Perhaps you should've said this after '09 and before '10.

We will be just as good, if not better. Clemson will be about the same as well. I take Carolina.

Huh? We are 10-2 this year.
I guess I should have said, "He's not winning nearly as much anymore" instead.
I wasn't even trying to take a shot at South Carolina when I said that. He really just hasn't been nearly as funny lately.

Honestly I think its cause he learned he wasn't in a position to (most of the time) while at SC. He knows its not easy to talk smack when you're team is playing like crap and at best a 7-5 team. And he'll be the 1st one to tell you that. Now that we've had some success over the last couple of years and gone 8-0 vs the Big 3 of the East + Clemson. (ie our biggest adversaries).. the little jabs have become more frequent.

I just watched this video and it only proves my theory of Clemson people being douches. Thanks south Carolina for beating that arse.

No one takes Yabo Dabo Doo or anything he says seriously.

Yep, that would be them.

This just popped up on my twitter feed regarding Dabo's comments:
CU is in Colorado, death valley is at LSU, and the tigers are Auburn

I haven't had any bad experiences with the Clemson fanbase. Them rushing the field every damn game was a little strange. But frick their head coach. He'll be coaching a directional school within a couple years.

he may have directed it at the wrong person, but he made a damn strong argument. I had no idea Clemson was that much of a big brother to USCe. I knew USCe was in their golden era of football lately, but no idea that Clem owned them that much in the past.

Really? having barely over a .600 winning % over 100 games is dominating? They have the state's one national title, we have the state's one Heisman Trophy winner.

And honestly its because of fan bases. Clemson pressured their administration to win, especially against us, long before we did. We always wanted to win and supported our team, but we accepted less for far too long. That has changed under Spurrier and you can see the results. Times are changing and they are swinging in our favor.
Hell by the statement Dabo made you can tell how hard Clemson fans try to validate themselves against SC. They know they're the smaller school and try to justify their status by football success. Now they we've beaten them down recently they're scrambling to find anything they can tot alk shite about us.

Sorry to hijack, but what are the entrance requirements for the two schools? I know as far as out-of-state students go, it's pretty tough to get into Clemson. Wasn't sure what the in-state requirements were for the two schools, and if USC was as tough to get into as Clemson for out-of-state students.

My big brother comment was specific to the USCe/Clemson rivalry. I had no idea Clemson held the advantage by 65-40-4. I would have thought it was closer than that. I didn't know they had 25 more wins in the rivalry than you did. I also didn't know they've won more bowl games than USCe has even played in.
I didn't mean it as a flame, though I can see how the use of the phrase "big brother" may have made it seem that way. I just truly thought the rivalry would have been in USCe's favor, not dramatically the other way around.

sorry to break it you as a Bama fan but there is much more to schools to football
I am well aware, but the OP was referring to the football programs at the respective schools so that is what i was responding to.

Clemson has definitely had the better of us in the rivalry, but I think what pissed Carolina fans off the most was that he took a shot at our institution as a whole. It is what it is though, and it just adds spice to the rivalry, and probably pissed Spurrier off even more than he already was. Dabo will get his, once again, on the field next season.

I'm not reading this whole thread but can someone translate this from ClemPson into English?

Clemson is a better program historically, but who cares? Tennessee is better than the rest of the SEC besides Alabama historically, but you don't see me crowing about it. It certainly didn't help us beat Kentucky this year.
