Clemson has three semi-tough games in a row later on. I could see them dropping one more game. The ACC is probably done as far as the playoffs are concerned. North Carolina and Miami getting beat (Miami got trucked) does not help them.

I have no problem with teams (including Auburn) enjoying a win. Bit I have to say you seem to think if Auburn had just beaten the #3 team in the country you guys would be holed up somewhere NOT talking about it?

And I agree with you. They definitely do not want two SEC teams playing for a National Championship again.
On the other hand, if they want to push a 12 team playoff through that would probably do it.

I mean, it was clear GA was better than Clemson, but expect a steady diet of how "that was a different team" yadda yadda yadda.
I have not seen any serious argument that it is anything but Alabama at 1 and Georgia at 2 right now.
