Once the super regionals are done, are brackets reset/reseeded, or are they preset based on original seeding?
Example: say if Nebraska beats Auburn in the supers, would Nebraska take that #4 spot in Omaha, or would they be the 8th seed (assuming the other top 7 advance)?

Bracket doesn’t change.. but I wished we did what softball does at the world series..
The loser of the winners bracket Game 2 flips to the other bracket..
Ie
Gm 2 > 1 UCLA vs 4 Auburn
loser flips sides
Gm 2 > 2 GT vs 3 Georgia
loser flips sides
Gm 3 > 3 Georgia vs 5 UNC
winner has to beat UCLA twice
Gm 3 > 4 Auburn vs 6 Texas
winner has to beat GT twice
* if higher seeds win all games
So in this example..
4 Auburn plays
5 UNC
1 UCLA
6 Texas
2 GT
instead of
5 UNC
1 UCLA
5 UNC
1 UCLA
It’s one thing softball does better imo

The bracket is set. You can see it on the NCAA website.

This is how I understand it
Omaha Bracket Super Regional paths grouped together
Bracket 1 1/16, 8/9, 5/12, 4/13
Bracket 2 3/14, 6/11, 7/10, 2/15
