1985 team had four future MLB All-Stars on it. Its a shame they didnt win the title and is proof that MSU is cursed for having built its football stadium on an indian burial ground.
Also worth noting. This year was the first time since 1985 that a CWS game was tied 0-0 in the 9th.
Oh... and it was a Roger Clemons Texas team who knocked us off in '85. 33 years later, his son is the SS for the horns.

To say that a good chunk of the country doesn’t like Texas?
frick some Texas Ex’s I know brag about that shite. I wouldn’t mind saying it to anyone’s face.
In fact I have brought it up with discussions with them before and most I talk to agree that the Longhorn Network was a bad decision for the brand and that the entitlement the Texas AD is known for is something that the new AD has to fix.

Speaking of LHN, currently showing 1969 AR-TX football game. Teams were ranked 1 and 2. Hogs are up 14-0 third quarter. I've watched the tape one time since the game was played. I felt awful for days after the game. My dislike for TX has only deepened through the years. Way to go,MSU.
