3. Auburn
4. Mississippi State
5. Texas
6. Kentucky
7. Vanderbilt
8. Arkansas
9. LSU
10. Oklahoma
11. Georgia
12. Alabama
13. Tennessee
14. Florida
15. USC
16. Missouri

Very impressive considering #1 is still playing football.

Whats the rankings for all college teams?... because I know Indiana just landed Nick Marsh....a top 3 receiver in the portal that my Notre Dame and LSU wanted.....so the #1 team in the country is getting richer as well.

I recommend looking at the overall which includes both hs recruits and transfer portal.

2026 Overall Football Team Rankings

But the menu at top of the rankings has options for HS recruits or transfers only.

If this list is true...Ole Miss is 20th and Im suprised Oklahoma is way down to 16th with no 5 star recruits....especially after making the playoffs.

The big question is when will USC ever do anything on the field that comes close to their recruiting rankings? LSU had the number 1 transfer class last year.

Ole Miss hasn’t been in the top 5 of overall rankings since Freeze. No discounting rankings but it is always something to approach with caution.

You have more people who have played very little football compiling this data now than in any time in history.

Things will change a little as more transfers get added. Right now the overall is probably 90% or more of HS recruits. These classes can get into the high 40's before it's said and done.

Alabama is basically going to be looking to transfer in a new offensive line.

Rankings aren't the end all, it's just what we have. And they aren't a predictor of the future either, they are a measure of the players as they are then. These are young kids still growing and such.

A 5 year 3 star player who spent time working and developing is likely better than a freshman 5 star with no experience. Especially in the NIL era with the money given to them.

Getting players who fit your scheme and want to be developed and put in the work is the important thing. Elite players are talented players who get developed.

I take transfer rankings with a grain of salt. The recruiting services have enough experience they are a pretty good judge of high school recruits. But they are still trying to figure out transfers.

For example, look at last year’s portal rankings for QBs.

Jackson Arnold was a 4 star and 13th ranked QB. Trinidad Chambliss was a 3 star and 60th ranked QB. Nico Iamaleava was a 5 star and #1 ranked QB. Luke Kromenhoek was a high 4 star and 6th rated QB.

The season and this transfer portal isn't over.

How would you rate Simmons? He's going to be battling a true sophomore for a starting job at Mizzou.

Waaay too early. Also has no accounting for how teams are filling their pressing needs.

Looks like a lot of this is based on what the HS recruit rating for a player was which I checked for Texas A&M and appeared to give a false impression for many of the guys leaving (overrated them).

Primarily

Spending big money on guys like Nic Anderson and Bauer sharp and failing to shore up the o line is probably the biggest issue with this team

We also spent massive amounts of money on d ends who had a combined 3 sacks.

But it got us ranked high which is what yall seem to care about
