I was there in 2009, championship series LSU vs UT. Game 1 is about the hottest thing I’ve ever witnessed. I was soaked in sweat. Was wringing actual sweat out of my shorts. 1 in our group - a minor, no drinking was involved, almost passed out. Had to go sit under the stands for a while.

"feels like" is global warming BS.

We've all been out on a pleasant 85 degrees day that felt alot more more 75 degrees. But you never hear the weather guy say, "It's 85 today but only feels like 75 so make sure you do stuff outside today."

Or the opposite. "It's 40 degrees today but feels like 65 so go enjoy your day outside."

Sure it is. If the temp is 20 degrees and it's windy it'll feel like a windy 20 degree day.

If it's 33 degrees bit "feels like" 28 water still won't freeze.

It's the human condition needing life to be worse than it really is.

Your argument is incorrect. While the actual temperature doesn't change, the effect on a person does. Significantly.

It's almost like you don't understand relative humidity and the wet bulb effect.

85 and dry is usually tolerable, it "feels like" 85. Humidity will only make heat feel hotter.

Feels like is a silly phrase for it but they've been using feels like since way before global warming became a thing. Skip Caray and Ernie Johnson Sr used to make fun of it in the same way you are back in the early/mid 1990s on Braves games.

They should call it Wet Heat Temperature or Relative Temperature or something, because we all know that it just means heat + mugginess. And we definitely all know there is a significant difference in 97 at 8% humidity and 95 at 72% humidity.

Thanks for your input Daniel. It did nothing to support any argument in this thread but I appreciate you wanting to be included.

Daniel, we know you're a dumb racist but this thread, and my comments in it, had nothing to do with whether global warming is real or not.

You are stupidly attempting to support someone that believes humidity or wind has no impact on how someone feels. Science and Physiology be dammed.

What an idiot you are.

I didn't say you did. Do you read the threads that you post in or is that too much of a struggle?

Good night.
