Adding OU/TX is going to ramp up SEC SB to premiere conference for this sport.
OU is outscoring the opp. 300-33 with 63 home runs and a nation-leading .390 team batting average. The pitching staff has surrendered just 29 earned runs while striking out 270 batters to go with an opponent batting average of .153.

Trish Ford (New A&M coach) is earning her pay. We were 6-18 in conference last year with a final record just barely over .500. This year, she's already beaten a half dozen ranked opponents including taking 2/3 from Arky & UK.
Edit: Just noticed A&M's final 4 opponents are the bottom 4 in the league. We may make a little noise in the standings.

I know we are a good softball conference but everyone has a winning record. Thats cool to see.

I really don't know how to feel about LSU at this point. 5 SEC losses, but they got swept by Tennessee.

Had two cancelled in Clearwater (the tournament Texas delayed the game to hit the timer) and a Thursday game in March with Liberty.

Vanderbilt really needs to get on board here. Enough talent in their area for them to at least be competitive

unfortunately, every team out there is playing for 2nd place.. the loosers won’t lose a game this year.. they are super young.. but they are that much better than everyone else.

The day that it was announced that OU/TX would be joining the SEC, the first thing I thought was that beastly OU Softball program coming to wreak havoc in the conference.
Not that Texas is a slouch either, as I happen to think that Mike White is one on the best softball coaches in America.

Does it really matter we know a sec title is worthless.. OU is going to pound everyone anyhow... The big 12 most likely has the 3 best teams again this year.

I’ve seen her pressers. Very impressed. It’s quite an early turn around to make our girls competitive.

SEC is already the premiere conference for softball.
