We take our class rings pretty seriously.

LSU's enrollment has gone up yearly, not down

Are we trolling based off of enrollment size - wtf

Galveston counts because they are doing a lot of marine research which just can't be done from College Station.

They fall short to the Service Academy Ring as far as prestige. But if you squint hard..............

Who said anything about comparisons to other rings?
That's the singular issue about the SEC that's been disappointing as heck: Everything is a pissing contest/there's so much unnecessary insecurity.
You do you, we'll do us.

In that case, Alabama should start counting UAH for NASA related research and UAB for medical related research. That puts the UA system enrollment at 50,000+.

Those are not part of the main campus, they are just system schools right?

So no, not the same thing

I'm just pointing out that no one seems to assess enrollment the same way.

I think every school is very clear about system vs main campus.

I'm just shocked only 3 tsips came over from shaggy to tell us all how much they don't care about A&M again

Old Sarge - You do realize that not everyone who thinks Aggies are huge weirdos are "tsips" - whatever that is - right?

That's exactly what you are doing. You are counting probably 1200 students that will never give a dime to OM because they did their undergrad elsewhere.

I thought that smaller schools were always the better option, but all of these larger schools seem to be doing well no matter what I think. Impressive. I am still more of a quality over quantity person though...but numbers and results don't lie.

It all depends. Larger universities have a wider variety of course offerings as well as curricula. I went to LSU and the courses I took through my department were all < 30 students per class. It was my freshman level core classes that were a little better attended with > 100 sometimes. I think I had a math, a biology and a geology class that were > 100. But as they were freshman level, it wasn't that big of a deal.
