"aggregious"
Meaning that if the player gives an "aggregious" taunting motion towards an opponent...that's the language in the rule

What the frick does the celebration penalty have to do with UA or AU?

Posted on 10/10/11 at 9:03 pm to BurnHardLonger
I think:
Fewest yards penalized per game-
1 Kentucky 26.67 ypg
2 Alabama 27.17 ypg
Fewest Penalties per game-
1. Navy 2.80 per game
2. Alabama 2.83 per game
The refs do an outstanding job.

I think LSU should strive to be as disciplined as this Bama team. They have a lot of calls that could be avoided with more discipline.

Holy shite D-BAG...I for one agreed with the call, I stated that due to that call which the "aggregious" language in the rule is questionable, that "past sketchy calls" are beginning to surface...And I'm the effing retard?? Check yourself toolbag!!
Just STFU, dipshite. You said that the Wing call, AND I QUOTE showed "that the "State of Alabama" favoritism in officiating is beginning to surface again. Now you say that you agreed with the call???
STFU. Just STFU. You're a clueless moron. The frigging official makes the call exactly the way he's supposed to, and you say it's an example of ="State of Alabama" favoritism.
You're an idiot. Just shut up and go away. Forever.

Totally agree. Running a tight ship, instilling discipline and order is what gets teams to Atlanta for the SEC CG and then onto the NC game. I mean, had there not been that kind of leadership for Lsu back in 07 left over by Saban.....

Let me first start off by saying,Officals in the SEC are one huge clusterfrick. They just dont rarely screw up,but it seems on a weekly basis.
My soapbox gripe is,we(all of us) as SEC fans like to claim we have the best confrence, best players, best coaches, best tradition,of any confrence in college football.Other confrences will say its only a "claim",but its a damn fact!
Haveing said all that, then why in the holy hell do we have to see brain dead calls week in week out?Someone in the SEC offices needs to shite or get off the damn pot!

Hey, dipshite, let me point something out to you that's plainly obvious to everyone else here:
You've got ZERO fellow LSU fans coming to your defense on this one. If that doesn't tell you something, then you don't even have two brain cells to rub together.

Ignoring all the flames, here is my honest opinion (of which I have two).
1. I believe bama gets the calls and benefit of the doubt a disproportionate amount. I won't speculate as to why and do not believe it is necessarily intentional and I do not believe it is any conspiracy, but I think it happens year in and year out over time.
2. I think the home team gets the benefit of the calls the vast majority of the time. This has actually been proven statistically and I have seen some compelling arguements that home field advantage consists almost soley of unintentional, but biased officiating across ALL sports. I didn't believe it at first in college football, but like I said, I have read some very compelling analysis over time that shows it to be true even controlling for all other variables.

Another ridiculous thread! Lsu fans, b proud! Our punter made history.
Haven't we seen more than enough rants about lsu fans blaming refs.
And for ye bammers, enough with the Bammer stat whores.
We get it, your stats are the best, but as ours, yours could be better if saban and miles thought it would help win a NC. Rants are becoming more rantarded every day
Come 11/5/11

I think that the officials are very inconsistent. I really like the new rule on taunting and showboating but the call Saturday was a joke. They call that and then let defensive players jump around like idiots when they make a sack or big hit.

In your opinion are we just looking at this with purple and gold glasses or do you folks sometimes think..."we got away with one there".
There are times that I think "we got away with one there". I usually say "I'll take it" while watching the game. Cause on average, just as many times as we get away with one, we get screwed.
My dad, who isn't a Bama fan and isn't someone I think much of today do to personal reasons, made a good point when I was younger regarding conversations over me thinking "we got screwed".
He said something to the effect of "Refs screw up just like everyone else, but on average... they screw up just as much against you as they do against the other team. Take the good with the bad."
