He left Tennessee with its worst roster since I can ever remember when he bolted for Cal. Got lucky with Stokes - I think both Memphis and Kentucky didn’t have room for a mid season enrollee. Then also got Robert Hubbs but he was coming to TN no matter the coach. The rest were 3 star guys.

When your HC says he doesn't care if he gets fired then you fire him on the spot. At that point the writing is not just on the wall... it is written in the sky in giant flaming letters while a celestial chorus sings "Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye".

I remember when mizzu thought he was a good coach.

The tenny boys were 110% correct about Clownzo.

Back then coming out of the darkness of Kim Anderson, getting a top player was our focus only. Blinded by the light.

His dad was already a coach at mizzou for a few years prior. It’s overplayed.

Cuonzo literally hired him from Washington the year the Porters signed with Mizzou.

Martin is an incredible story. Overcoming a rough upbringing and then cancer. But here’s 2 things he has taught me as a fan:

1. An incredible life story from a relatable and genuinely great African American man will move your program from finishing 6th to finishing 2nd for closing 4 and 5 star STL and urban kids...which helps the program ZERO as he’s left scrambling for 3-stars or transfers.

2. Showing tough love is only good for creating more transfers than any school in conference.

CCM still has two spots to fill, so why can't he get a shooter and a big man? The players we are bringing in are better than the players that are in the portal. Plus, we have a nice freshmen class coming in that feature three Missouri kids. Why don't we worry about the roster when it is complete?
