Those are great points, but I doubt he’s gone up against a top 2 player of the year post player very often that is quicker than he is. His length gives him a huge advantage and he probably won’t even jump a lot to avoid fouls if he ends up guarding Broome when Cardwell is on the bench, but if Broome is able to score on him he might start getting more aggressive. Cardwell isn’t really a factor on offense other than the boards. Kalkbrenner also has so much length that he can affect guards getting down hill without having to jump, making it more difficult for a guard to draw a foul on him. Should be an interesting matchup.
Creighton's center was a non-factor.

Umm…he shut down AU’s interior scoring for most of the game. AU’s guards were just too good. I wouldn’t call that a non-factor, but you do you.

Broom was 4-13 with 8 points. Cardwell had 6 points. You just clowned yourself…lol

I mean to be fair, Broome missed a shitload of easy shots that he usually makes. Cardwell has never been a scorer. Broome missed one with their 3 on him. Dude needs to get it together next game.

what about Pettiford, Jones, and CBM.....in "the paint"?

ETA just looked at the stats....................Auburn scored 42 in "the paint".

That’s about his norm.

But he actually has an outside argument for POTG. Dude was an impenetrable wall in the interior.

Hard to get in a rhythm when a 7-5 wingspan is guarding you for much of the game, impacts your shooting even when they aren’t guarding you.

But there wasn’t anything “fair” about the clown take. Saying someone didn’t watch the game when they are the one who has no idea what they are taking about is too funny. I’ll refrain from questioning AU fan’s overall bball knowledge on that one since there are at least a few decently knowledgeable AU fans posting tonight.

Auburn scored 42 in "the paint". Exactly how big a factor was their big man?

AGAAIN.........you obviously didn't watch the game.

I mean he shot it like shite regardless. Some was the defense and some was that he just missed easy shots. He’s usually good for one of those threes when they leave him wide assed open and he missed all of those too.

lol…you’re a tool. A bunch of those were floaters or drives while Kalkbrenner was guarding the screen and roll to keep AU from shooting threes. Your two main post players scored 14 combined points. Your POY candidate scored 8 measly points. Keep flaming if you want, but it’s a clown take
