Crazy how Milroe is assumed to be so bad yet Bama isn’t going after any portal QBs.

Yall are the ones saying he is bad. I think everyone else was on the wait and see approach. Its obvious he wasnt Bryce Young, but you bama fans bailed on him with quickness.

Milroe is progressing fairly well. He still have times where it looks like he's a deer in headlights, but he had been reading defenses and directing hell of a lot better. Next year could really be special with him

Check again. It is going to be a BRUTAL season, next year. SOS should play much more in rankings. I'll be amazed if we don't drop one or two.

I wouldn't say bail...I just think a lot of fans thought he would have progressed more than what he showed the first couple of weeks especially since he had a decent amount of in game experience and started a couple games last season.
But we realized that it was a combination of our OL being atrocious early, having a new coordinator etc that lead him to being indecisive at times.

I get that, dudes a physical specimen.

Texas is in a similar situation with Arch and Maalik. Everyone wants Arch(and he could be great), but Maalik is a physical freak that could destroy teams multiple ways.

Freaking Milroe can run with the best of them, itll open up his passing.

Maybe Jalen is really good this year and will be even better next year.

We have Julian Sayin committed who has an excellent chance to make an impact early in his career. I think it may wind up being Milroe next year with Julian doing mop up time and then the year afterwards it will be Julian's show. Milroe will either enter the draft or be a graduate and transfer.

If he ever figures out when to run, or more specifically, decides more quickly when to run, he’s going to be a serious problem. He holds the ball a little top long and doesn’t pull and run on RPO’s enough. As good as he is he can get better. I have to admit that I wasn’t a fan for half of the season, but he has come a long way.

Who is saying he is bad? He started out bad, but the young man has pulled it together and is a legitimate QB and threat.

That said, who is the backup? Your backup always seems to give us hell.

This right here. He throws a great deep ball but takes a little too long going through progressions in the pocket. Took too many sacks this year. I anticipate that he will be much better next year... he will be a handful.

Who's currently saying he's bad?

When the season started, he wasn't good but neither was an inconsistent and undisciplined oline, with a new OC and shaky WRs. The coaches did a great job developing and bringing players up to speed.

We've seen a progressive improvement in a team that's now prepping for the SECCG and vying for a spot in the CFP. What more can a fan base ask for?

SW, dude is like a broken record. Actually wants Alabama to lose so he can gloat with a "told you so." Was finally booted from the Bama board so he slings it all here now.

Alabama has the #1 QB in the country, Julian Sayin coming in next year. It would be ridiculously stupid to risk losing him to bring in a portal QB.
