Ever notice how when we play teams Florida, Georgia, and USCe play, we usually perform better?

Then when we beat one of them in the SECCG it's not like it matters anyway, we beat the top ranked East team.

But whatever, keep complaining, we'll keep winning titles no matter who we play.

That's just it pal, check the thread again. We most definitely got the benefit this year with scheduling which I do believe to have been inadvertent. The problem is if you read through this thread terms like always have been used throughout to describe Bama supposed scheduling bias which is a joke. LSU could have won a national title the last two years but they were raped.in the NC game, lost to a Florida team with an atrocious offense and choked against Bama. Just a few a couple of years ago KY and VB rotated off of your schedule I don't recall Bama fans whining about it then.

I am so happy we get to play Bama in ttown this year. I'll have a ticket and I'm 4-0 in ttown and was 2-0 in b'ham before that. They cant win big games at home. Then again, the gumps only have 1 big game a year. AND ALWAYS LOSE. Dynasties dont lose home games.

It’s amazing how effective the permanent opponent rule plays out for Alabama. In the years LSU beats Florida, Bama’s odds of having to play Florida in the SEC C.G. go down, and when Florida beats LSU, Bama’s odds of winning the SEC West go up—a win win for Bama either way.

It’s very amusing how the Bama fans keep a straight face while they accuse the LSU fans of whining about this obviously unfair advantage Bama and the rest of the SEC West have against LSU.

None of the other SEC programs want to play either LSU or Florida more than they already have to, so the permanent opponent rule is kept in effect by the majority.

They call it their traditional rival rule. A more appropriate name should be "We don't want to play Florida or LSU rule".

Play the gumps at home. It's that simple. And give them a second chance. Seems to be the national championship formula. Beg for a repeat. Lose at home again. beg. repeat. They'll be playin home games again in B'ham before we know it.

Living in Louisiana makes it even more enjoyable for me
that the vast majority of LSU's fanbase has not gotten over 21-0.

I expect Cam Cameron will help them with that in the near future.

LSU's offense is about to move into the modern age of college offenses--big time!

Wait, then where's the anger over Texas A&M's schedule?
No Florida, UGA, South Carolina from the East.

Heck, not even a decent OOC opponent either, plus a bye before LSU and a bye before Ole Miss (probably #4 in the SEC West) and getting Alabama at home.

We sure that it wasn't A&M who greased some palms at the SEC HQ?

Only if Miles leaves the QBs alone. LSU QBs in the past have taken serious nose dives.

then why did LSU's AD sign off and agree to this bridge schedule? Why?

He didn't. The vote was 10-2, with LSU and USCe voting no. BUT because Gump and Gump Jr. Dawgs and Vols plus all of the other teams that wanted to avoid Bama or UF voted to keep permanent oppenants and this "Bridge" schedule.

Has Alleva & Miles flipped any teams for the upcoming vote this year? It will be interesting to see how the rest of the conference feels about this "injustice".
