Could we have a moment of silent reflection for the Vols.

I went to sleep. , and laughed for a few days. Then watched the game. My moment of silence was when I went to sleep. Don’t need another one.

The most glorious 96 hours in the annals of CFB history, perhaps the history of mankind.

Sports illustrated just ranked us as the 10th all time winningest college football program:

Where is LSU?

To be honest I could give 2 fricks less about National Championships that were won before we put a Man on the Moon or better yet before integration. Including the one (claimed) that we won.

Of course you don't. LSU is a microwave national power that had basically no history to speak of during a time when college football was being built by John McKay, Woody Hayes, Bryant, Bo, Darrell Royal, Bud Wilkinson, Bob Neyland, Frank Howard and Joe Paterno. Before you were born LSU's biggest claim to fame was a punt return on Halloween night.
I wouldn't want to talk about it much either if I were you.

96 hours at #1...a lifetime of rent free in your head.

Alabama not being #1 on this list tells me all I need to know about it.

It's been a lifetime for the current CFB players since 1998.

Your team is #1...and you are focusing so much effort on a team that hasn't won anything in 25 years. That is the definition of "rent free".

let's not forget another such instance. It was right around this week in 1985 that Florida football achieved it's FIRST EVER #1 ranking. Back in those days you didn't know the polls until like Monday or Tuesday. A few days later they would lose by 3 touchdowns to heavy underdog UGA.

You may want to take another look at the rankings.
