Meh, gumps will get pissed at that I'm sure. But gumps are generally pretty dumb and don't understand much, so it doesn't much matter.

Nick Saban would turn any program into a powerhouse.

He didn't become a genius going from MSU to the SEC...He just got better athletes and the 2 SEC progams where he has coached could be run by a monkey and still win

He had plenty of great athletes as Mich State.

This is obviously not true.

Yea lol Dad was a huge Laker fan and I know Pepper Johnson (patriot coach) through my sister.

I actually agree with you though. At this point, everytime Saban loses (which aint often), it is to a team with less talent than he has. I would hate to see a Petrino coached team with bama/LSU/UGA talent.

Petrino at Louisville and Saban at MSU are the two best comparisons we have (it is much easier to win at LSU and Bama than Arky).
Petrino (4 seasons):
41-9
3 top 20 finishes
2 top 10
Saban (5 seasons)
34-24
1 top 10/20 finish

Yes, recruits will follow him wherever he would coach.

with his current reputation and record, if he left alabama tomorrow for arkansas, yes.

Probably. It seems like it's a matter of support and talent.
Saban seems to be able to get both. Being in a decent spot like Arkansas would make it a little tougher than Bama, but he could probably get it done.

Saban at MSU ain't the same coach as Saban after 4 titles. If he went to Arkansas he would have recruits lining up.
