Could Saban actually locate Atlanta on a map for Ole Miss?

is saban a good enough coach to make it to the sec title game with ole miss? if so, how many coaches in the league do you think could accomplish this?

Saban could make it with every team save for Vandy and Kentucky.

Depends. 02/03 ole miss? Sure he could.

Current ole miss? Nobody could.

i think saban could win anywhere but vandy, uk, miss st, and ole miss

the bottom 4 in the sec would be tough to bring to greatness no matter who you are

Yes, but only in a semi-down year for the other schools in the West where a 6-2 record + tiebreakers would win the division.

Saban, Miles, and Spurrier I could see doing it, and Chizik if the alumni were willing to open up their check books and turn a blind eye to corruption.

If your team plays in the SECW and is located in the state of Mississippi, then Atlanta is quite a feat

it isn't impossible. a 6-2/7-1 SEC record isn't the same thing as going 14-0 or whatever.

Saban's 5 years at Michigan State:
6-5-1
6-6
7-5
6-6
9-2

He never won the Big 10 or made a BCS bowl in his 5 seasons there. I doubt he could do much better at Ole Miss.

Considering he's a MUCH better coach now than when he was at LSU, his Michigan St record doesn't really count for anything

I think it should be considered when comparing the programs though. If Saban went to Ole Miss, the other programs in the SEC West wouldn't necessarily be going downhill. Could he do it? Possibly, but you've got some big time players in the Western Division.

Sadly, he probably does.
