The offense should be better despite the QB play as both players have a couple years in the offense and whoever captures the QB position will be ready.
The running game is just crazy the amount of quality backs LSU could throw at an opposing team.
The offensive line with the loss of Collins will still be one of the better units in the SEC.
The WR core with another year of experience should improve, not to mention another year to work with the QB and improve.
The TE is a barren wasteland but maybe Smith will change that moving forward.

The defensive line will always be a strength and they should be ready for this upcoming season
The LB with Beckwith returning should be an experienced seasoned group ready for destruction
The CB should be ready despite the loss of Collins as LSU has several young players ready to step up
The rest of the secondary should be scary as well with several youngsters ready to step up.

I could see this team goin 11-1 with an SEC Championship bid of course due to the youth they could easily go 10-2 or 9-3 as well but I think despite the coaching this group is eager and ready.

9-3 at best.
8-4 best scenario.
7-5 likely.

Anywhere from 7-5 to 12-0. You could say that about probably 5 teams in the sec next year. LSU will have as much talent and potential as anyone.

Sure, why not?
But the west is so tough, there isn't a team, top-to-bottom, that could really be considered a surprise.
At least not in the true, "holy cow, how did they win?" sense of things.

Will they score a point against Arkansas in 2015? Smart money still says no.

Sorry.... As long as Anthony Jennings is their starting QB, he'll account for about 4 losses this year.

Funny OP. His all hell breaks loose, worst case scenario is 10-2

7-8 wins. 4-7 finish in the division seems about right.

I don't understand the logic of the people in this thread predicting no improvement or steps backward with a team that basically lost nothing to the draft besides Collins

I could honestly see us finishing 7th in the SEC West or 1st.
