let's see, former player's parent and someone not affiliated with lsu cook up a scheme to steal some money after the player had already left and this all happened several years ago. if lsu gets punished for that, that would be completely idiotic and the fact that lsu self imposed restrictions is equally idiotic. but lsu has a notoriously idiotic compliance dept

3 pages of LSU fans telling us how unconcerned they are. The fear is real.

Its funny you believe this

They said he was paid for a no show job from 2012-2017. When did that player enroll at LSU?

I believe the person who claimed it wasnt real was an unnamed source, not actually LSU itself.

Could be wrong though.

The articles state "LSU Spokesman" for claims

I'm concerned because by the letter of the law, its a violation.

Doesn't matter if it was connected to the football program or not.

The NCAA gets to decide whether they want to frick us or not.

it's like you don't even understand language. and here's a question, if lsu is in "trouble" how much longer is the ncaa going to drag this out? 5 years? 10 years?

Any time someone trots out a derangement syndrome phrase, it's a 100% guarantee they're an imbecile.

funes is not an lsu employee. so you laughed at me and you were wrong

"Davey was no longer at LSU when the alleged payments were made." vadal's dad did do work. SOME money was sent to him after he left the job.

also, if this is so bad, why isn't it more widespread? why aren't there allegations involving dozens of players? because it was between alexander and funes, not a full blown lsu program cheating scheme, like ole miss/bama/etc. but you knew that already didn't you

He was paid for a no show job from 2012-2017, these are in the news articles

Keep on with that head in the sand. I believe you were one of the ones a month or two ago that said this latest release was never going to amount to anything as well. Figure yall would keep your mouths shut with proclamations by now..

What's coming out of Red Stick is said to be "deeply concerning" to some LSU insiders.

Sources familiar with the situation are confirming that LSU officials are in the middle of convincing NCAA officials to separate basketball and football violations in order to avoid "Lack of Institutional Control." As confirmed by SI's Pat Forde.
