He's the greatest college coach of all time. Everyone knows that. It's almost impossible for him to win COTY, because Bama is expected to skull copulate every team they play.

There's nothing especially impressive about this. Oregon's defense really is that bad.
When is the last time Bama hung 70 on anybody? Much less a somewhat decent power 5 team?

Oregon's D may be awful, but 70 is still impressive.

What do you all think?

I think there are far too many coach of the year awards. I count at least 7 unique, current national coach of the year awards just on Nick Saban's wikipedia page

I think the front runners right now look something like this.

1. Peterson
2. Fleck
3. Fuente
4. Riley
5. Sumlin
6. Grobe

But maybe all can get some hardware.

Chris Peterson and Mark Richt are making good cases so far. Argument could be made for Jones as well.

Even if Washington loses a couple games, he should win this going away. He isn't just winning but dominating teams...at WASHINGTON

Gotta be Coach O. The turnaround he's produced at LSU is amazing. Heck, UF canceled the game becuase they're scared. When has that ever happened?

I think most everyone( except delusional Gator fans) agrees Fla. did not want to play because of injuries and the impending butt whipping from the Tigers. It remains to be seen how Coach O does the remainder of the year, but whatever he does will be better than Les would have done.

When is the last time you remember LSU hanging 70 on literally anybody? Let alone a P5 team?

Haha....this board would never pick Sumlin. Most probably still want him to be on the hot seat.
