Kentucky fans saw their team play Louisville in the Final Four in Indy no less. And gridlocked I-65 for a few hours.

Even Louisville fans acted like they had some sense in a decent establishment.

What did the UK fans back home do after that game?

I know a good portion of the posters here lives in the Atlanta area. Before you go down too hard on Dog fans consider this: have y'all ever been to a Braves game when they are playing the Mets, Yankees, or Red Sox? If so, you know damn well Georgia fans are pikers when it comes to being obnoxious sports fans in someone else's town.

pikers

I always thought this term referred to working class jersey people who had to take the turnpike to Manhattan for their menial jobs because the menial jobs in Manhattan don't pay enough for those workers to live there. Being a Piker meant you were poor and not worthy of calling yourself a new yorker like the true manhattanites whom you serve for bread crumbs.

I mean calling the dawgs lasts like 30 seconds tops. If that gets your panties in a wad enough to call the cops, then you really are a pussy. Now if they were asked to quit and they just kept doing it over and over, then yes I can understand it. Didn't care enough to look up the circumstances of the situation.

Perhaps, but you got my drift.

Bro, any away team's fans that goes to see their teams play @BOS, @NYY, or @NYM you'd describe as pikers. Those environments aren't for the faint of heart.

Hell, I almost got in a fight with a Mets fan at a Red Sox/Rays game at Fenway.

I will say this, I wish Braves fans who went to games at TP acted more like us Braves fans that go see them play on the road.

When I lived in Maryland back in the early to mid 90s I used to go to Philly to see the Braves a couple of times a year. It got a bit nasty at the Vet as well. High school football rivalries were I'm from in middle Georgia used get right testy too. Fwiw, the Vet was a cold, nasty hunk of concrete.

Pretty weak by St. Elmo’s. I teabagged a guy at Krystal’s in NOLA back in 2012. I got a few fist bumps from the employees.

I've been to CBP for a few Braves/Phillies games and have never had a incident. Even when I was one of 4 Braves fans sitting in a section along the 3rd base side.

The one time I wore a Milwaukee Braves shirt to a Phillies/Brewers game though ...

Indianapolis? Are they getting the Olympics in 2028 or something?

They had the Olympic trials there actually.

Not far away.

Super Bowl to NCAA tournament to Monster Jam and Taylor Swift.

Only people that made news were Georgia fans. Because they are trashy.

St. Elmo’s is one of the best restaurants in the country

And they let people in dressed like slobs? I'm doubting it.

Fine dining establishments generally require a jacket, at least.

And no, insulated vests don't count.

They ain't getting the Olympics and try Atlanta if you wanna pick a city that's hosted "events from all over the world" whatever that means.

What news? Did I miss something? Was the calling the dogs chant the lead story on ESPN? CNN?

So of all the fans who've visited Indianapolis over the years,Georgia fans are the only one who've led a cheer for their team in public? Do tell

BTW,I can promise you UGA fans are spending crazy money up there in bars, restaurants and hotels.UGA getting to the NC game was one of the best scenarios Indy could hope for.
