Even if he trots out there he’s a cut back into Suntarine Perkins away from getting his season ended anyway. He runs reckless as frick. Reminds me of Dart his first season. He’s gonna take some bad shots in the SEC. He’s never gone through a gauntlet like that before.

Yes. There is an option called questionable. Why didn't they list him on that option? He can be upgraded to questionable, but the fact that he is listed as doubtful indicates that there is an actual injury that took place.

How do you know there isn’t?

Does “questionable” vs “doubtful” change Ole Miss’ preparation?

Off topic, but he’s also reckless in how he waves the ball around with one hand while running. I’ll be shocked if he gets through the year without at least one fumble due to that.

So are you saying that coaches should be fined if anyone who is listed as doubtful plays?

If a pattern emerges where players listed as questionable play then the coach will be penalized.

Just about everyone here including LSU fans agree that Kiffin absolutely uses the injury report strategically to screw with opponents. With the scrutiny he is under now people are looking at his past injury reports to see how many players he listed as doubtful have played and comparing that to other schools and coaches.

We know his gay little mind games.
Leavitt will play. He will turn the ball over. Now he has an excuse. It can never be Lamé’s fault. Narcissists don’t do accountability.

You are such a fricking idiot.

As long as a player receives treatment they can be listed as questionable or doubtful.

None of this matters.

He is listed as Doubtful not OUT meaning a 25% or lower chance of participating. He can or does not have to play.

Yep, and in the SEC players listed as Doubtful only have about a 20 percent chance of playing, but now that there is a fine attached for false reports, that percentage will plummet.

I expect he will be upgraded today if kiffin has intention of playing him.

He’s reckless with the ball in general. He seems really uncomfortable getting pressured in the pocket. Look at the film of the La Tech game. His O line was getting absolutely whipped by 2 stars.
Their RT and Guard play is atrocious.

They’re running up the credit card.
I believe they had a $30M deficit this year. They can’t cover their bills

Hopefully the LK experience bankrupts the entire university. They deserve an FSU situation.

So, pretty much the same game plan he used on Austin Simmons, this time last year.

Looks like he didn’t throw at practice last week either.

doubtful does not mean out...there would be no consequence

It depends. If the opposing team or conference official flag the player report for investigation, team practice videos and medical staff records are reviewed and interviews with staff, coaches and players are conducted. The SEC tracks "doubtful" as a 25% chance to play. If the investigation indicates the player's injury status was misrepresented based on practice week vs game participation, there can be a fine levied.

I also think it is safe to say that Lane, who has been warned about this during his time at Ole Miss and due to his current tension with the SEC, would receive little leeway if something appears fishy in the reporting. That said, injury reporting is a fine solely against the school.

In game fake injuries are the only medical shenanigans that can directly affect the coach.

So the new thing the SEC is going to “get” Kiffin for is false reporting of injuries?

Can’t wait

I think it is dumb, but not out of the realm of possibility.

The only reason this injury reporting nonsense came to be is the explosion of sports betting.

$25k is more than worth it to Lane for a troll and/or mind games
