i don't want opposing fans and teams to feel at home, neither does Florida that's why Death Valley and the Swamp are the most difficult places to play (when the teams are good)

Thats a great story and all, but most people from other schools and conferences say they really enjoy tailgaiting at LSU. maybe Gumps are just irritating.

Oh bye the way

You speak for every Alabama fan, because you keep constant surveillance on each and every Alabama tailgate and tailgater, 24/7. Give me a break, dumbfrick.

I watched the video and I completely disgusted one of those LSU fans.

"What does ah ah TICK and ah the Alabama football program have in common? They can live off a Bahr for 20 years!"

WTF? If you're gonna tell a joke, tell it right for crying out loud.

It's a MAGGOT and a BAMA FAN living off a DEAD Bear for 20 years.

That particular LSU fan deserves to be pelted with urine bombs from his own fans for screwing up such a basic "screw Bama" joke.

maybe you should check your facts on that one, turns out they were all bama fans and it had nothing to do with football. but it made for a good news story the other way I guess.

I don't understand what all the flaming is about. There are stories like this about nearly every fanbase all the time, and whether any of them or true or not it comes down to the fact that we all have the fans who go too far. Now, you're not going to get a rise out of me because I've been to Tiger Stadium and around the campus several times and have never witnessed anything to this degree. It's easy to find and post this shite, obviously, but it doesn't mean anything. A combination of your bias as an opposing fan and your eagerness to shove something in our faces. You're not changing my view of my team or its fans, and I don't have any negative feelings toward yours either. There is a motive in here deeper than just to prove a point, and it's to try to piss people off.

I understand the guy was most likely hammered, but I liked the quote: "In my opinion Alabama hasn't faced a good, talented team, on the road, in Baton Rouge."

Reeaally? Socrates.

I've lived in New Orleans since 1980 and have been to two games at Tiger Stadium - once with a friend who is an LSU fan to an LSU-Florida game and once with my wife to an LSU-Alabama game. Both games were lessons in abhorrent fan behavior. At the 2002 game a 20-something young LSU fan purposely ran into my wife knocking her into the stairwell wall and spewed vulgarities at her for wearing an Alabama shirt. I grabbed him by the neck and pushed him down into the concourse stairwells floor where we scuffled. I looked for a policeman but there wasn't one close enough to hear me. The LSU creep staggered to his feet and took off fearful a policeman would hear me.

I grew up in Birmingham attending Alabama games at Legion Field in Birmingham. I've attended over a hundred Alabama games in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa and never once have I seen anything like that happen at an Alabama game. I'm a PIKE Alabama grad - it didn't happen when I was a fratboy and it doesn't happen now. If those kinds of things happened in Tuscaloosa the Alabama State Police would be arresting people left and right. Alabama doesn't allow that crap.

LSU fans will deny this but the evidence is that the Alabama administration warns the student body every year that bad behavoir at games won't be tolerated and students will face expulsion if they do it. Alabama follows thru on it's warning and expels students who violate that code of conduct.

On a side note I was suspended from Alabama for a semester for continuing to run a poker game after after getting an official warning from the Dean to stop the game we were running at the PIKE House. 7 of us got suspended. The main reason we got suspended is because Bookmakers from off campus (mainly Birmingham) were coming to play in the poker game.

LSU's student fans are classless. That's why LSU grads earn less than all but one other SEC school. Vandy and Alabama grads earn the most. LSU degrees are worth slightly more than Mississippi State Degrees placing an LSU degrees value at 11th out of 12 schools.

how is this relevant to anything in this thread?

now you're just making things up. here's a link that has LSU grads making substantially more than alabama grads:

Your link is to a chart that is based on a flawed calcualtion premise. I moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane grad school atfer I graduated from Alabama. I worked for the Southern Company for 8 years recruiting college grads for The Southern Company. We charted every college in the country to a strict standard of academic difficulty, grade average, class size, average entry level SAT scoring, graduation rate, and percentage who attained post graduate degrees. That chart is the same chart used by job recruiters at every Fortune 500 Company today - and on that chart, among SEC schools, Vandy and Alabama are at the top of the list for potential hires nationwide and LSU is 11th out of the 12 SEC schools.

Tulane grads are listed among the top 30 in earnings nationally.

Your right, BAMA is so perfect and no other team in the SEC comes close to them in the SEC. Perfect fans, perfect academics, perfect team, etc. We bow down to your superiority. But seriously, if you truly believe that this doesnt happen at every school than you are either bias(my guess), ignorant(maybe), or dumb(you went to BAMA so thats impossible). People have stories about bad past experiences from every school. I can honestly say I have never seen anything like this at LSU just like youve never seen it at BAMA, and yes i'm young but I have been to plenty of games big and small. Most BAMA fans who came last weekend said they had a great time.

i dont know if thats true that the girls antagonized on purpose to get a rise---but if they did, they are low lifes. to intentionally antagonize drunk fans knowing youll get a retaliation that makes them and the school look bad and then only showing the effects; along with setting up the theme of "lsu fans are aggressive" from the beginning to validate the deception just to get a talked about story is friked up if true. Thats why certain reporters and paparazzi are hated all over. if the story is legit, ok. but i kinda believe they are full of shiat. because it takes a certain person to wear alabama colors when they go to lsu anyways. and obviously they had to know a story about lsu fans being aggressive wouldnt look good for lsu when they started it. so if they are capable of that then im sure they are capable of setting people up. obviously the fans did what they did but who knows how much the girls tried to get them to do it and what they did to make sure of it. freakin biatches probably edited the whole thing--haha
