I appreciate Waze but don't trust it enough to risk getting stuck on the interstate. Sometimes people don't report closures/flooding.
Anyone know if you can take 10 west at Siegen all the way to 49 N at Lafayette right now, or do you have to get on 190?
We had a rather large TD guild at launch (about 2 1/2 years ago now, I guess) that fizzled out quickly. It wasn't a good time for me to be leading or coordinating anything.

I think DoUrden and some others migrated to another guild, but I'm not sure if it fared any better.

I'll be mildly interested in the game again when the expansion drops.
Yeah, this game's shite controls probably added hours of frustration to the gameplay. Even when you think you're used to it, the game throws you a new fricked up camera angle.

If the remaster still controls the same way, you will have a new generation of players complaining about this.

Doesn't help that the story is a bit of a slow burn, and so for the first couple of hours, the clunkiness is the most apparent feature.

Our fans ask, 'Why aren't you doing Knights of the Old Republic 3?' What we're really doing is Knights of the Old Republic 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12-plus. We have that much content and that many stories. We really get to do a lot of things we really wouldn't get to do in [a] KOTOR 3.

The Old Republic setting of the original two games has been thoroughly mistreated by the writers of SWTOR.

A new single-player title would have to either ignore the events of the MMO, which will infuriate its players, or be set in the future, perhaps during the time of Darth Bane, which may alienate people who wanted an immediate continuation of the story in non-hamfisted-massively-multiplayer terms.

I'm sure EA will demand a new one at some point, but it can't be easy to figure out where to go from here, as the MMO is still trucking along and introducing new facepalm-worthy narrative elements.

From each game/series:

Baldur's Gate

Jaheira, Minsc

Neverwinter Nights

I don't know, I guess Sand?

The writing in NWN2 was duller than a bulb in an Easy-Bake Oven.

Knights of the Old Republic

HK-47, Canderous, Kreia, G0-T0, Bao-Dur. Too many great and complex characters in these two games.

As far as the MMO, there aren't too many well-written companions, but I guess Lord Scourge, Khem Val, and Guss Tuno.

Jade Empire

Wild Flower (Chai Ka) is the obvious choice here. Black Whirlwind and Sky are all right too.

Mass Effect

Garrus, Thane, Tali, Wrex, honorable mention to Zaeed. Once again, an ensemble of above average to great characters.

Dragon Age

Wynne is the best in Origins, followed by Alistair and Shale. I know Alistair is a touchy topic, but I think he is the perfect mix of self-aware sarcasm and genuineness.

Morrigan's speech, appearance, and behavior don't seem to fit her background, and she is "over-written" in the same style as Kreia could be at times. But Kreia is just way better overall. Leliana's voice acting is terrible and something doesn't sit right with me about how she pretended to have a prime directive from The Maker just so someone would notice her.

Dragon Age II is not worth mentioning and I'm only about 7 hours into Inquisition.

There. Not what you asked for, but it's my opinion of Bioware companions.
Sorry, but I only play online with people who have numbers in their handles.
You mean other than bored and mentally ill enough to post here? I guess I've been okay and stuff. Have you been okay and stuff?
Come on, it was a facetious threat. Sometimes I can't tell if you guys feign a reading disability because it benefits you in some way or if there really is a disturbing comprehension problem around here.
Right, get in your jabs while my wit-o-matic is down.

When I get my shite in order I will insult you in ways that are so over your head, you'll beg for me to be coherent.

Which would actually be a pretty valid request.

what's the opposite of attribute?

Bad timing, Skillet. My thesaurus browser add-on that I consult every time I post just crashed.

Without looking, I'll guess negtribute? not-attribute? Phrenic? shite, phrenic means something but I can't remember what.
Did you know that when Grrrl lost weight, I stopped talking to her? That's how integrity I am.

I know integrity there sounds awkward, but there's no adjective form and I'm not good with words so I couldn't figure out an alternative.

If only there were someone here with a better grasp of English grammar.
Vices are things you do for therapeutic purposes to get through the day.

For example, I often privately request post quality reviews for regulars around here because it's the only way I can cope with the guilt of allowing them to live.
Sorry, Skillet. We all have vices. Yours is flirting with female posters through a veil of self-deprecation and mine is...

Well, that plus lashing out in smug superiority sometimes.

what's fr33's wife look like naked?

Aw gee, you guys. I can't handle this constant roasting. Back to lurking until I can work up the mettle to face the mean questions.
Think you've smashed enough watermelons yet, Gallagher? I think you've overestimated the human capacity to perpetually laugh at the same joke.

Stay tuned for the next drive-by poster assassination.
Sorry, I usually don't post at all, much less unsubstantive comments like that one, but it was really spurred on by a combination of things I find distasteful.

Women expressing opinions, regurgitated memes, message board flirtation based on the fact that you have "Girl" in your handle.

It's so hard to keep this flood of emotions I'm having in check right now.

Wow, this board is a fricking cringe factory.

I like the game a lot, but The Witcher 2 needs to come down from its cloud. CD Projekt Red has some great PR, but then again so did Bioware once upon a time.
