Safe to say, you were the best team in the SEC. You performed what was expected of you and have made the final. This is why Kentucky is the best in the SEC and teams like Florida that can't back up the hype aren't. Well done UK

Agreed. It was no contest. UConn is undoubtedly a better team than Florida. Florida benefited from playing in an awful conference

There aren't many UK fans who'd agree with you. The SEC was a grinder for UK this season. Probably why we're in the NC game, IMO.

Just because UK wayyyyyy underperformed all season does not make the SEC a "grinder".

Apparently you haven't been in the conference long enough to know how much better SEC bb teams play when UK comes to town. It's a tradition.
It apparently worked to perfection this year. Constantly playing teams that brought their A games made the Cats tourney strong. If UK had lost even one more SEC game, we probably would have been in the NIT again. The season was that close. In fact, when we lost to SC I thought we would not make the NCAA tourney. Thankfully, the Cats won a couple in the conference tourney.

Looks like you are the loser for talking out of your arse without stating the facts that indeed the SEC has been good outside of UK and UF. I only went back half of those 20 years and found several other teams who did well in the tournament from the SEC. Guess name calling without knowing the facts is your way of glossing over actually knowing the SEC has good basketball.

Yeah, SEC lets Mizzou in and they sh*t the bed against Colorado State in the first round. Should have given the bid to another SEC school last year. Other SEC schools have gotten to the Final Four in the past decade so don't lump them in there with Mizzou. Get to a Final Four first before saying how bad the rest of the conference is.
