I'll take good guard play come NCAAT time, and thats what they have. They're looking good

Good guard play wins in March/April. One bad shooting day gets you beat. They'll be a really interesting tournament team.

Yes they will. I'd feel more comfortable if they had a big man down low but with the way they shoot it may not matter.

With the way this year has gone anybody can beat anybody(except for Kentucky).

Pearl teams are entertaining and this one is no exception. What I’m amazed by is their ability to rebound and get to loose balls. Their hustle to the ball and ability to get it despite any size differential is more than impressive. They also appear to use a method not dissimilar to running a slapping, scratching, hacking full court press. You overwhelm the refs who can’t possibly call all of the fouls. They seem to play very chippy on the boards and dare officials to call them. That isn’t a criticism of Auburn as we used the pressing method ourselves when Pitino was here. Just an observation.

I really like this Auburn team. Was rooting against them tonight but will be pulling for them once the first weekend rolls around.

I never have nor will I ever call UK anyone's super bowl. I don't like that term.

That term in on the level of melt. Just thrown around when you got nothing left to argue.

Really bad post. Is sportsmanship completely gone?
its kentucky.....you want to be friends?....give them a blowjob

He's saying it's not about Kentucky. It's about showing a little sportsmanship (a.k.a. class). Bottomline: try to act like you've been there before.

I think we all know that in football Alabama is, and in basketball is Kentucky everyone else's super bowl.

The atmosphere speaks differently. Go look at the last few road games we've played. Some type of white out or maroon out or stripe out, its like this every single year.

You're not wrong. The atmosphere last night was easily the most electric I've ever seen for a basketball game and I make a habit of going to them. That said, you're crazy if you think the Alabama game next week isn't going to be even nuttier.

I'm sure it will be. The revenge factor plus the rivalry in general will have that place going nuts.

I realize I've argued with some Auburn fans in this thread but I am pulling for you guys once that first weekend of NCAAT rolls around. Very fun team to watch.

Imagine how bad they get with a football win. They just ain’t use to being really good. It will pass. I’m pulling for them though in b-ball.
