Alabama at Mississippi State Earns Historical and Season Superlatives
ESPN’s telecast of Alabama at Mississippi State (7:15 p.m.) delivered a Nielsen total live audience of 7,031,000 viewers, peaking at an impressive 11,427,000 viewers (10:15 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.) Historically, the more than 7 million viewers is cable’s most-watched Saturday college football game in over two years and among ESPN’s top 10 most-viewed regular season Saturday games in more than 20 seasons.

If you made this list because you lost a home game to an OOC opponent you should be ashamed.

Troy was probably the third best team we played last year. And obviously the second best team from Alabama.

Rose bowl was easily the best. Espy agrees

Surprised Auburn didn't make this list for any of their games last year. Beat #1 Bama and #1 Georgia and then lost to Georgia when they were #1. ESPN loves when #1 ranked teams lose from the SEC.

None of those games were really good.

As a side note, if you're a neutral observer, you'd pick the Rose Bowl over the title game. The UGA/OU Rose Bowl was the best game I've watched since the Texas/USC Vince Young game

If I’m not being biased the Rose Bowl would definitely be #1

Side note: I enjoyed the Texas A&M vs Arkansas game it was a shoot out.

That tweet is correct; how OSU/PSU didn't make it is beyond me.

Oh wait, it makes perfect sense since the game wasn't on an ABC/ESPN network. I thought it was on Fox but just looked it up.

Are all those games only ABC/ESPN games? Are any of those listed CBS games of the week for example? Tenn/UF looks like one prime candidate

Edit: read some of the tweets and the bottom of that says there are right restrictions on some games. Makes sense as those were probably Fox games, but CBS gives rights to ESPN to review I gather?

Ouch!

Props to Troy for humbling us. Everyone has to line up and play. Your big bad name won’t win you games. I’m more mad at Orgeron and co. For not having us ready than I am at Troy for spanking our asses.
