Do you know anything about UGA and how they play defense? Their entire philosophy is built on very solid tackling and to stop everything in front of them to force third and long or 6+. Then we run the most exoctic blitz packages in the country and the most heavily disguised coverage. Sure not all will get home and sometimes a slant will go for a first but I know we have 8 sacks the first time we played them and 7 I think last night with damn near 20 tfl. Thats why they missed FG. Ewers is garbage at operating an offense in a red zone and he has infinitely higher caliber receivers than UGA does.

Texas penalties killed their drives? Sounds like some prima donnas who need discipline and sarks pussy arse comment at half time drives home that attitude "I hope they call them for holding." See the issue is uga doesnt need to since their qbs have been clean more or less all 8 qrts while in the pockets whereass texas must hold in order to do anyting at all. I thought the refs played pass interference well and let the dbs play physical but through the flag on both teams when it was egregious. Again Texas is a team with elite WR and Secondary and somehow that makes them think they can be champions.

Texas doesn't miss 1 of 2 easy fgs, they win, simple as that. Was a fun game, both teams missed some chances, and good by uga to play better down the stretch. The beating the chest like you beat them by 4 tds is weird for an ot win. It's like saying you had ga tech right where you wanted them all game as they walked down the field every drive. Played great when mattered, so good by uga. They'll be ready for the playoffs gauntlet for sure

Backup qb was limited passing. Uga offense approach was great with him in 2nd half. Not sure you'd change that at all... to what let him throw more ints? Good win, good game
