re: “What’s wrong with Drink?”

I didnt get this either. Hes has multiple sec leading rushers, again, at missouri ha. His law of averages finishing in top 8 in sec when missou isnt a top 10-12 program in pecking order, is impressive. His records against top 25 (feel like context is needed if it's against uga, bama, lsu, etc) is not good. Not many coaches is
So hes got a better record then us, at missou.. and he sucks?

Didnt know qb was back. Off has looked bad for sure.

Everyone is so sensitive about potential coaching hires, sheesh. Just was adding tough opponent, environment.

Oh st looks like shite against Rutgers, 31+ fav.. fire day
Isnt he having to play #8 on the road, with best pass rush front 7 in nation, with a true fr qb?
Parker, francis, billiot time to shine
Its the fact in his 4th yr, he showed an inability to develop the oline, when he was handed 2 starters for it. And that his 4th yr, with the biggest nil budget and transfer class, he was having his worst year, and worst offense in the sec.

Lsu hasnt had the truly bad year you see usc, Michigan, Florida, auburn, tenn, Penn st go thru. Not sure if its lsu program, avg athlete we get... but we haven't finished the regular season under 500 in like 25 years.

It was the decline of performance, and lack of development or improvement year after year. Add in rumbles of drinking, not being hands on in gameplans or with players/ at ops building much... cant have that and being paid 10mm.
How much of this is against bama, uga? Is he expected to beat them when hes at Missouri. This doesn't change the fact hes over performed for what Missouri is in hierchy of sec programs. He averages a top 8 finish and they are not close to a top 8 sec program.

And his rushing offenses / ypg lsu would kill for..m at Missouri, with limited resources for lineman and rbs.

Bama
Uga
Lsu
Florida
Auburn
Tenn
Ole miss
Ou
Texas
Atm
We aren't a blue blood. They dont like non blue bloods, unless it's a Cinderella story. They made characters out of les, O, etc. Hell it took us beating bama to state lsu is for real, over 3/4 rough a season being undefeated.

It is what it is. Whoever we hire, they will shite on the hc, or the process we did to hire, and talk down about is this the best fit, etc. Lsu can't win, so f em. Who cares.

He'd do really well. And hed have the best defensive talent at his disposal in state that hes ever had.

Do people think the #1, rb recruit didnt get paid to come here already?
He isn't a scrub. Doesnt change he has 2 of the worst losses in ND history, when they were like 30 pt favorite at home... with a roster held completely together when Kelly departed, so no excuse of 29 kids like we had. Why his good seasons to me are diluted, bc of that cake acc schedule. Hes a great DC, recruiting great, and would cost almost as much as lane. Both good options. Wish we'd go with up and coming coach, not some lifetime contract again
He has 10-2 handed on a platter every year, if they lose to the 2-3 remotely equal talent teams they play a year. And since Kelly pissed off ND, they funded new athletic updates, and have NIL rolling. Notre dame is most cake job in the country, and it isnt close.
I sort of wonder if this happened. With guys taking 250k for hc job, 100k for oc/ dc, 50k position coaches. And if they went and won 8-9 games with sec schedule, does it completely blow the entire coaching (college at least) upside down. With how much $ now goes to players , coaches can be diluted cause you need Jimmy and Joe's. Interested in this sarcastic approach tbh.

Hope another school tries it to maybe reel in these contracts
Not alot t of teams have won 9 games 8 of last 11 yrs in sec. Were an elite program, but O's 2 bad years were really bad.

Not complaining at all if you choose to do something else, thats the point. By all means, live a happy life.

And the other points is why other fan bases like aub, etc are better these days. We dont support the team as a whole unless they win. Were spoiled. I get the disappoint, it sucks. But part of being fan for LSU is it being a past time as well, whether its football or baseball... even basketball for some die hards.

2011 title loss to 2018 build up made 2019 even more special.

Always enjoy November games. Weather is great, and have the rest of the day and weekend to do whatever with friends and family.

Our fans have such a negative view of life. Its a football game. If you can and want to, go support the team and brings your kids/ friends. If not, stay home and do something else
This pissed me off. Fired your coach, interim hc and can ruin your biggest rivals season. And you tuck your fing tail.
Yup. Hold on for dear life to stud wrs, La ot, 4 dline horses, LA safety. 8 core guys. If more stay thats great

This is literally what happened and ive never seen anything like it. I thought the Kirby ehhh we'll give him a pass on the timeout call, free play to uga was most blatant bs. That was so obvious. He counted, and you see him go well f it false starts lsu, fate has chosen my hand and I'm fing kitty tonight

If they opt out, they dont get $$. Hopefully our boosters, staff to be retained (admin side not necessarily coaches) can get with players to try to keep as many with LSU, come end of nov after season is over, before early signing day, and portal period.

Otherwise 4 yr rebuild incoming. Got 4 big dline recruits, and some promising young guys we need to keep on the roster. Barry, durham, green, alot of young oline to be developed better, mckinley/ breaux, shanklin/ reliford, Ross / braker/ baby weeks, pickett/ woodland/ anding, Cooley/ spears
We won 9 games 7 of the last 11 years. How is that a dumpster fire... real life isn't a video game
