Could be for sure. Haven't read anywhere on these boards that anyone likes running clock (less plays), unlimited transfers, nil $ and agents. Like I said, could be wrong
Think it's become more of a hobby vs passion for a lot. Still care and want them to win, do well, and something to follow. Just not as passionate. All ive heard is that line of thinking from any cfp fan. Could be wrong
I didnt downvote your hard message, dont worry. But yeah it caused me and 5-6 buddies to not keep season tickets, and do just 1 group trip game a year. Overall fans being vested less, which everyone i talk to can't stand new cfp world, means sport will suffer long term. I haven't heard 1 person say they like unlimited transfers, nil$ free agency led by agents every year. You do you
Agree. The wolf doesn't concern itself with the sheep
More drama for sure. But makes me care a lot less regarding wins, losses. Spend less $ traveling for it as well.
No one can be worse then mvb against ou. He walks in from 2 yd line vs throwing the int, the defense wins us that game.

Was just ruled it doesn't count, pavia being the main case. Ncaa is pursuing to change that, but will be a mountain to climb since it negates long term success of an amateur to earn. Same as transfer crap being unlimited, etc, any restraint ncaa tries to put on college athlete, courts are striking it down.

Wasn't a juco ot on campus? And I dont think juco years even count anymore towards eligibility. So you can have 6-7 years if you go juco, then redshirt yr 1 at a program. Nuts

I know. Why I mentioned 3 lineman we either had on campus, or are rumored to have interest from...

Juco ot, Minnesota guard, bama ot... just how offense looked bleak 1 day ago. And now we likely have our #2,3 rb, and 4 of our top 5 wrs added for next yr.

And a flex option to spell tre Dez at te, and the starter next to Dom at dt.

Also, braiker staying locks up lb group and no portal need there unless a splash star position kid (minn stud koi perich if he comes. No safety room for starter mins, spears, cooley, Boise st new add). Imagine 1 of Boise st or minn kid would play the star.

6'1 212 out of hs
6'1 225 redshirt year
Rs fr- don't think you want you want him more then 6'1 230 and losing that elite lb speed. Should be perfect size and speed in his 2nd year
Woodland and spears are starters. Anding and brown are your cb 3-4, and spears, cooley, benefield will be your 3 starting safeties rotating.

Is he fast enough for coverage that's needed in that star role?
Whit, Ross need to be the 2 set lbs. Keys and zach can backup. Portal for depth. Jimcolly, singleton the star if they can cover well enough. Both looked solid in run support in bowl game, both struggled in coverage. Perkins coverage didnt get a lot of fame since it isnt sexy sacks... but he rarely gave up receptons on tes, rbs, and sometimes wr 3 guys. It will be tough to replace perkins versatility for a dc usage wise

He'd be better in lanes system, similar to tenn vs what we were running last few yrs. Lanes quick hit offense is less time for oline to stay on pas rush blocks, and easier man power block in run game. He's trying to get $$$... just not sure if he's elite for Lt $ he wants.
We may get 2 wr, 2 oline just from ole miss. We need to relax some and realize he's good at piecing guys into his offense, and then utilizing what he has.

The te add is a sneaky good 2nd option to tre Dez that will get 0 pub.

Once the oline adds start, and qb1 is sorted, will ease lot of the nerves. Weird to replace an entire offense, but at least the defense returns alot of great pieces.
We just went 7-6 with worst offense in sec. If defense can be similar, and offense be mid tier, 8-4 (9-3), or 9-3- would be considered hell of a year 1 with like 45 roster turnover spots, and entire new offense.

Progress is all we should care about, end goal and sustain around that high level year 3-4 and go forward.

Got 2 top 10 wrs in receiving yards this last year, flex receiving option from Pitt who had 200 yds, and a rs fr rb who's got 4 yrs from Utah. Offense will feel better when we get 4 oline commits, another 2 rbs, and whatever qbs we start getting. Lane can do alot with his system, especially if they can run. Offense feels uneasy because we're replacing all of it ha. Worst Offense in last 80 years at lsu... what did we expect to happen.
We already have by signing 4 top 75 dline kids, and holding on to an elite hs ot.

Agree with the post, sure up the line... and take whatever dual threat lane thinks can run his offense. And whatever 2 backups who are athletic and can do the same but no experience.

If we grab lacey, 2 wr, 2 oline from ole miss we'll be fine.
Every coach has openly said there are no rules anymore. You can contact agents all you want showing interest and getting that return interest. Don't like it, get congress to vote it as illegal.
