Houston went 35-5 overall and 1-3 vs the SEC, with none of those losses coming on the road.

I don’t watch much basketball during the season, but enjoy the tournament games.

Congrats Gators. I really thought Golden would crap the bed along the way and a couple of times he tried to but his kids bailed him out. Sign of a team that believes in their coach. Fantastic season and a well-deserved title.
Now enjoy that target on your back! The conference isn't going to get easier next year!

Also congrat's to Kentucky, the only team with bragging rights over the Gators this season.

Will be interesting to see if any other SEC school can break through in the next 5 years or so...or any other newer/resurgent program for that matter (Zags/Houston/TT/etc.).
Last 20 years - really just UVA and Baylor unless I'm forgetting anyone.

I was impressed at how physical Florida got in the second half after getting pushed around in the first half. They knew they had to match their physicality and they did just that, even at the expense of a bunch of fouls.
