Don't let the overall record at SMU scare you off.
All he did was save Dabo's job, build him a championship offense, rebuild one of the statistically worst college football teams in history (NOT an exaggeration) by take over-looked high school kids and turning them into all-americans and potential first round draft picks, and pull off our single biggest upset in a quarter century last year.
He knows every HS coach that matters in the entire state of Texas and is in a position to deliver the top recruits in the DFW Metroplex. He's more stable than Lane and not an arse like Leach. All he needs is a Defensive Coordinator and he'll find one.

It is an amazing hire. Frankly every prospect they were looking at was great, they were in a great position despite all the jobs open this offseason.

Dabo's Coaching tree is now in the SEC. I am excited to see Coach Morris get the opportunity to coach one of the more significant Power 5 schools.
"The Chad", as we Clemson fans like to call him is the architect of Clemson's offense and a huge part of our ongoing success.
Chad was an extremely successful High School coach in Texas before moving up to the college rank and has a fantastic relationship with the Texas High School Coaches. He will pull quality players out of that State and Arkansas offense points per game is about to go up significantly.
I look forward to following the Hogs over the next few years.

Congats Arky fans! I was hoping y'all would get him. Excellent coach and perfect fit. My Dad is an Arky alum (me Bama) so I root for Arky too. I'm thrilled with this hire!
