Pruitt was interviewed by the NCAA this week. I’m guessing some stuff might have come out of that.

Jay quit. He wasn't forced out. Saban tried to talk him out of it last night, but he told him he wasn't changing his mind.

My guess is more has come to light and he got more seriously implicated in Tennessee's troubles. Say what you want about Alabama but they ain't stupid and throw any assistant who has ongoing NCAA matters overboard. If Alabama will terminate Bo Davis for lying about pedantic impermissible contact rules, Jay Graham was a goner if he got tied up with any pay 4 play.
