You want people saying this about your son?

Too many comments in this thread couldve been avoided.

Out of bounds. You don't know that. I have three sons who would disagree with that statement. He was a kind kid. He is gone before his life reached it's full potential, but it was not "wasted". He made impact on people who knew him.

This is laughable and a very uniformed thing to say. He was having some serious, serious problems long before he enrolled at Alabama.

Also, can we please fix the title to spell his name correctly.

Actually, he had been called a traitor, but the pressure was self imposed. He still had several good friends in Knoxville and thought highly of the place. I wouldn't say the statement is uniformed, but I would say it was incomplete and a bit misguided...and not necessary at this time. Doesn't matter.

He was having serious problems even while he was enrolled at Tennessee. His problems started long before he was called a traitor. Like I said, this comes as no real surprise to anyone who knew anything about what was going on in his life in Maryville/Knoxville.

May he rest in peace.

This just makes the chip on Alabama's shoulder even bigger. Combine this with the tornadoes and the aftermath that followed and the Tide squad will have a massive chip on their shoulder this season.

Before you rip me, I'm well aware that a life is not as important than football. I was just making an observation.

I'm not really going to rip you, but you obviously realized you had a ridiculous perspective to post at this time. I would suggest an edit.

Extremely sad to say but it's true. It sucks that so many people knew he needed help but it was always unsuccessful.

Prayers go out to his family.
