Lets not get crazy.
Add some academic strength, we don't need to strengthen the conference too much. It's already ridiculously tough as it is. Baylor could be the Vandy of the West.

That's all you have to do to get a recruit. I better tell Trooper about this.

I know what you're getting at, but Houston and Dallas are full of LSU alums.
I understand that but overall Houston doesn't care about the SEC and Dallas is more OU country than LSU country.

Meh. Doesn't really matter to the upper echelon of the SEC. Arkansas, etc.

Hypothetically speaking, say A&M joins the west. Who would you want to join the east? FSU, Clemson WVU etc?

Don't fool yourself. The SEC would LOVE to have a major Texas school in the conference. There's a lot of $$$$ to be made out of Texas.
And any $$ or interest taken from the Big 12 makes the SEC a happy conference.

GW, that's the word though on the A&M side being reported. Slive and Dr. Loftin (A&M pres) have a great relationship. Slive knows that realignment will happen sooner or later and adding A&M adds extra money immediately because the TV deals would ne redone.
It's said if we want to go Slive is fine with an unbalanced 13 team league

True.
LSU, Arkansas, and Ole Miss can all claim some of their largest alumni chapters to be from Dallas while at the same time not coming close to the presence of 0U and Texas...

Stop stroking your ego until you actually get into the SEC...You might want in, but you have to be chosen.

Auburn, they are already in the same state as an other Eastern division school.

Ham, A&M is ranked higher academically than Baylor. A&M would be 4th in academics in SEC after Vandy, UF and UGA.
Blzr, obv SEC is better than Big 10. But Mizzou has their heart set on the Big 10 for some reason

Alabama has a rather large alumni group in Dallas as well. Yet, has only signed two kids from the metro area in the last ten years.

We will bring in someone else. Prob Mizzou or someone from the east or middle east. I could see possible Louisville getting an invite.

McFrat, we HAVE been chosen. Twice actually. Once when the SWC folded and again now

Does he think Saban is still at LSU with that hat?
Or can we read between the lines and say Saban is in his head with that hat?

FSU is a great national program, however if the SEC could expand and get the Washington DC area, then I think it would be really good. I'm not really sure is UVA or VT would be better for this. North Carolina and Duke would be great but there is no chance there.

Why aren't you in it then? Did your big brother tell you to stay the first time? This "2nd offer" is speculation until you actually get in.
