You guys can't even fill your cereal bowl of a stadium. Did you read that article? Who the frick wants to spend $4000 to go sit in that weirdly oriented stadium in the middle of fricking nowhere? One sellout in an entire decade? ONE SELLOUT IN 77 GAMES?! Florida has had 11 sellouts just in the last two years alone and our team has been total dogshit. We have 7 schools already within 500 miles of Gainesville. FSU will literally bring nothing to the SEC.

That's why yall beat us every time we play. If I was a Gator I wouldn't want the Noles is neither. Just another program yall are behind.

I bet a lot of stadiums are going to downsize to make the experience better overall

We've already seen this trend in basketball, where schools are starting to conclude that a basketball venue is basically a TV studio, with some luxury seating to generate revenue and some student seating to make it look good on TV. I'm afraid that we will see this trend bleed over to football. Empty seats look bad on TV and depress what people are willing to pay for season tickets.

If you were drawing up a conference starting with a clean slate, FSU wouldn't be at the very top of the list, but they wouldn't be near the bottom, either. However, we aren't starting with a clean slate. We've got 16 teams and only 12 games to work with. The whole drive to go to a 9 game, 3/6 schedule was to make the conference feel like a conference and not a loose confederation. Going bigger makes that impossible.

Still hard to argue with their recent past and competitiveness.

That’s what we want.

If we wanted more tv sets that didn’t matter, we’d have to find another aggy/mizz. How’s that helping the conference with mediocre non-fits.

They dont care how many students you have or alumni or where you are located. Its are you a brand and FSU is most definitely a brand

All the other things you mentioned may be true, but this is an absolute no. There’s no comparison when it comes to FSU and Miami's fanbases. FSU has a massive fanbase, and aren’t anywhere close to the level of fair weather fans of the U.

They dont care how big your fanbase is. They care if Jerry Smith in Peoria Illinois has heard of you and will watch your game.

UF fans may be looking for a new SEC team to latch onto if their trend continues.

Counter point: The chicks are hot. Granted I think ucf is overtaking them, though.

I'd say it puts the "dominate the SEC" discussion to rest pretty quickly.

It's sad when the gators can either ride the bulldogs coat tails or sec coat tails. Fire napier after years 4 like the last 4 coaches, I'm sure the next guy will be the one.

Seems TV ratings are going to trump the attendance numbers for the decision makers. SEC gets more out of the TV deals than they would get from a sold out Doak Walker.

Interesting. I've always felt they had a bigger draw than Clemson but apparently not.

Ole bull gators are sitting low in the water when their best defense is "we can't beat fsu but the dawgs can".

You claimed that FSU would "dominate" the SEC. Don't get mad now.
