I was told Texas doesn't develop players. I was told that Kellen Mond was better than Ehlinger. Yesterday we saw Mond shite himself. What did we see from Ehlinger today?

Sam Ehlinger Dazzles in NFL Debut
The former Texas quarterback shined in helping the Colts score 11 points in the final eight minutes of the fourth quarter against Carolina

quote:

Earlier in the fourth, Ehlinger led the Colts on a scoring drive in which he showed off his arm strength and accuracy. He connected with a former Texas teammate, Tariq Black, on a 47-yard pass down the middle to put the Colts in Panthers' territory. A few plays later, Ehlinger was pin-point in tossing a 25-yard pass to Tyler Vaughns, who made the catch with one hand to the Panthers 1-yard line. After Benny LeMay's touchdown run, Ehlinger tied the game with a run for the two-point conversion.

You're going to be hard-pressed to find anyone that believes that here.

Ehlinger was drafted much lower than he should have been.

Met him at a jaguar game a decade back. Our suite was next to his, and he needed to borrow a lighter All i did was talk college football, apparently he's a notre dame fan.

All that talent and he couldn’t finish above 6th and 4th in the Big 12 the last two seasons.

Yeah bro, your really shitty thread aside, not many Ags would take Mond over Ehlinger. I’m actually an Enlinger fan, he’s a tough as shite kid who has had a pretty shitty few months. Mond is tough too, but I still would have taken Ehilnger in Jimbo’s system.

Not sure what your point is here. Other than we are head and shoulders above you even with a non-elite QB.

Don’t you think it’s a little early for Long horn fans to start sucking each other off regarding Sam? Very Aggy of you to celebrate someone who hasn’t accomplished anything kf significance yet.

While I don't think he is the next Montana or Brady, Sam is pretty far down the list of people to blame for the absolute abortion that was the last 2 seasons of Texas football.

With all he has been through, I think everyone roots for Sam. He doesn't have elite, great or even very good arm talent. But, perhaps, he can get a few quality starts at some point in his NFL career.

And the bears are winning the Super Bowl, Lawrence was all hype too lmao, you don’t even really watch football, you have to be a bad team to play starters during the preseason

He was only the 2nd best colt qb today. Uga’s own Jacob Eason was the other one.

That's like saying "N.C. State's own Russell Wilson".

Eason's final season was with WASHINGTON, the state he is from.
