Sucks that Allen has to sit and watch his defense lose him the game

Yep. Really stupid that in a game where both offenses are clicking, only one team gets a chance.

I agree. To much left to who wins a coin toss. It's stupid.

So much money involved you would think they would change it

College rules but the starting point should be mid field.

They're both pretty bad, but college is more fair.

College needs to tweak a few things to be definitively better.

Old college rules.

None of this 2 pt. try bullshite counting as an OT period.

I like the start at the 50 idea, plus the old college rules where it’s full overtimes until it’s over and not the 2 point tries after 2. That would break ratings records in a game like this one we just watched.

Keep it as it is, just give both offense one shot

I never liked it on the 25. It puts the defense at a disadvantage which turns into more overtimes that leads to more injuries. It should be like the NFL except the other team should have a possession.

Used to be simple sudden death. You could win on a field goal. People bitched and now you have to score a TD or the other team can tie or win.
Hearing the talking heads I bet it changes away from sudden death to both teams get at least one possession. This game is the catalyst.

With the way officiating is slanted towards offense, you just can’t do sudden death anymore. I’d be fine with both teams getting a full length try too. Anything but sudden death.

Both defenses were gassed at that point. Defenses wear down at the end of games, especially ones like that.
