lol poor Aggie … they were at the cotton bowl last year lol… 2-3 matchup involving Herbies team …. Why do you think that happened ? Use your brain faggy.

Also no one really believes Texas is the best teams everyone else just keeps losing ….

State Fair!!! We don’t need no stinking State Fair.

LINK

WLOCP, DSOR, 3rd Saturday in October, Egg Bowl, IB, Battle For The Boot, etc… do not need a State Fair for rivalry games.
Isn’t the Cotton Bowl only used for soccer now? The only football played is the RRR. Cotton Bowl is over rated and a wore out old man.

Geez dude

Think before you post if that’s possible.

They will be in Austin the next weekend anyway.

I’m surprised you didn’t hire Josh.

As desperate as Texas is Josh is wearing some shade of orange. Tennessee might be interested in sending him your way in December

You can make it go away. The voices will tell you what to do.

I think the CB still hosts some HBCU matchups during the season. But anyway, it's one of the final grand old true bowl stadiums still in use. If the walls of the Cotton Bowl and the Colosseum in LA could talk, they would have some epic stories to tell.

But yeah, the City of Dallas somewhat maintains it just for the RRS and historical value. Visitors to the Texas State Fair for the first time are surprised there is a fairly large football stadium on site, and if they visit while the game is being played and ride the Texas Star (massive Ferris wheel) they can look right down into the stadium when they reach the top...or at least could when I was a kid. (Seems they moved the wheel a bit in recent years)

In any case, it's up to the University of Texas and OU to keep badgering the city to keep the Cotton Bowl standing and somewhat safe to have a football game. The city leadership were dumb enough to pass on the Dallas Cowboys actually playing in the city so the RRS and SMU being somewhat decent are the only football offerings in Dallas these days.

So that they can see Oregon instead.

Oregon and Ohio st is a top 5 matchup, gameday won't come to see bottom dwellers like ou and aggy even if we're number 1.

for general NCAAF fans probably will be

#3 Oregon vs. #2 Ohio State
#1 Texas vs. #18 Oklahoma
#9 Ole Miss vs. #13 LSU. (Two teams ranked close)
#4 Penn State vs. USC
#8 Tennessee vs. Florida
#18 Kansas State vs. Colorado

Not hard to understand. They’re coming to Austin the following week. Apparently you are the only one who is surprised they are going to Eugene - it makes sense in every way.

Good chance they’ll be in CS later this year. I doubt they were going to give Texas FOUR Gameday appearances.

Again, your take is moronic.

So he went to OU and then couldn't get to Texas fast enough to create his legacy?

Didn't think that one through, did you

That always has to hurt.
Again, wouldn't that hurt OU more since they had him first and then he left to be more successful at Texas?
