It's an illsuion of perception. Arky rises to third in the division and suddenly, they lose the thrd best west team off their schedule.(meaning Arky doesn't have to play Arky) Essentially, Auburn and LSU fall off made Arky's schedule a little easier. But with Ole Miss' rise to second in the west, it is still uber tough.

SEC West is stacked again next year, the floor is very high. That's driving the tough schedules. A&M's logistics of scheduling sucks with the long stretch away from Kyle. Will probably be favored in every game but Bama but lots of teams that can beat them if they don't show up ready to play. Key for A&M next year will be the same as this year though, QB play.

This schedule is easier to deal with than last year.

Tough schedule for State but that is okay.
You play one game at a time. I know it sounds odd but playing Georgia this year may not be a bad time to play them. They lost a lot of experience and talent off the NC team. I know they are very talented but the year after a NC can be tough for a team breaking in a lot of new starters.

We will see what happens.

Plus you can flip the way you look at this. Yes, it is going to be a difficult schedule for State but playing us this year is going to be no picnic for the teams on the other side of the LOS.

Can't play ourselves and our game against Alabama in Atlanta won't be factored in until we ice the East in Jacksonville again.

I love UGA's schedule next season, 4 ROAD GAMES;

@ both Columbia's
@ Starkville
@ Lexington

The rest are either in Athens or essentially a home game in the ATL against Oregon and the neutral site game in Jville against UF.

We should go 12-0 or at worst 11-1 during the regular season.

I'm so excited to see how Kentucky rallies themselves for yet another "game of the century" against us.

They just need to realize that we'll always be their football daddy, just like they will always be our basketball daddy.

Good to see that things have stacked up nicely for Auburn to make a run....to the bottom.

One game against Oregon does not a difficult schedule make. Georgia is still in the east and plays auburn every year. After Oregon, looks like your next most difficult game is Kentucky.

Just glad it's not the Hogs again, although 4th isn't exactly "easy".

Didn't realize A&M was playing Appalachian State next year ... those guys always come to play, and many upsets of name teams over the years. Miami should be interesting with Cristobal looking to make a statement

Especially after recruiting this year and Shemar Stewart

Who decided MSU's OOC games this year... While they should be wins, none of them are run away gimmies.

Anybody think Harsin coaches beyond this year?

This is refreshing. Actually football talk. I guess this is what happens when the swamp rats stay out of a thread.

Be careful of expecting everything thing to go right this upcoming season. I understand that you are the defending champions but 2022 is a new year. Those road trips look like a cake walk in the park but they may not be as easy as you think they will be.

You have a lot of talent but you are filling some big shoes with new players and the SEC is tough every week. You may very well go 12-0/11-1 but you could be 8-4/7-5 if things go South on you and you have a bunch of injuries, lose a game or two then lose your confidence.

You just never know.
